Job Interview - WTF do I wear...

How can anyone go wrong with a dark suit?

You can't. And for an interview, it's always a good choice. Remember to wear at least one thing that (as said above) pops so you'll be more memorable. So in this instance, I would suggest conservative suit and shirt but a tie with some color in it (tasteful)

And jesus god please make sure your suits are tailored, it can make even an ugly suit look better when it fits you right.

Edit: 3 piece suits are always hot.

Of course it helps when you're David Beckham.

The last job interview I went to (about 15 years ago) I wore an old t-shirt that had:

F.B.I.
Female Body Inspector

I got the job...

general labor position, no need to wear so professional, just be casual, i think
i have been working a lot before during school

Wow that really sucks. I thought IT guys and actuaries got a break in the dress to impress arena. Now if it was for a marketing position or something, yeah you gotta come full of swag.

Guys, have a girl friend or sister help you out. I always assist my husband with his outfits on important meetings, business trips, conventions...etc. He can dress himself fine, but I usually pair up things he would have never thought to pair for that extra pop that makes him stand out (in a good way;) )

Yeah, that's a good tip. If I dress myself, I'll just stick to the same colours like black or earth tones, because that way I know I won't look stupid.

Only problem is, I always dress the same. My wife's handy for pointing out when I can do stuff differently.

[FONT=&quot]If you find yourself sitting across from a unfriendly interviewer, they may be just testing you out. No matter how directed the job interview questions, an interviewer can never completely test out a job candidate.

You registered with the username interview to make this post, I don't get it.

Fuck job interviews. That shit is for the birds. Especially if you're trying to get a general labor job.

I wouldn't get the fuck out of bed for the shit pay you're going to get. Unless I had a family to support. And then I'd only get out of bed to make sure my wife got her ass up, off to work on time, and had shit ready for dinner later that night so I didn't have to wait till 8pm to eat because her lazy ass was at work all day.

But seriously, fuck menial labor. If that's the route you have to go, buy a fucking lawnmower and shovel and work for yourself. You'll make more.

Final Pre- Interview Review Preparations

[FONT=&quot]Wear decent and formal dress because your first impression is the last impression. If you have worn bright colors or jeans or very normal cloths then it shows that you are not serious about the job or a professional kind of person and the interviewer can ignore you.

Dude - I am ball busting here, but in all sincerity I can assure you, you'd be better off trying to get a quick hustle lined up with a Telemarketing Company. Or Office Depot or some other Big Box.

This, who the fuck wants a manual labor job, that shit is for proles and teenagers.
