Whilst it makes sense for LPs with multiple offers to have the links open in new windows (so they can read about and complete the second offer too) what is the general consensus when it comes to LPs with only one offer?
I've always had my offer links open in a new window, but I recently started testing having the link stay in the same window. Somewhat surprisingly my conversion rates did not really change.
I was thinking this might be because people with slow computers automatically close new windows. Or maybe popup blockers...?
Does anyone have any experience in testing this that they're willing to share? I'll post some figures once I've tested this for a few days but I'm interested to hear what people have to say about this.
