Does the Muslim community speak out in their mosque against this type of violence and condemn it, or do they secretly support it? Someone mentioned in another forum after 9/11 in many countries the ordinary Muslim citizens, the non-militants, were dancing in the streets in celebration.
Not attacking you, but simply pointing out that that is pretty much what the guy with the hatchet said after chopping off the soldier's head. "They kill our people in our country" etc. So some Irish people killed civilians in England - outside Ireland - in retaliation for feeling invaded. Some muslims kill civilians in England, and in this case he gave the same reason.
On the other hand if you can measure terrorism, then you are right: islam is a lot more fucked up than the IRA.
Well any browned skinned dude should watch out. A few mosques have been attacked. I have to say the Bostonians were largely calm as in they didnt fire bomb any muslimy place. Plenty of random beat ups/arguments happened but nothing on the scale of what's going on in Europe.
This is a tragic event and WILL create a lot of problems for foreigners. Shit like this can cause extremely violent riots and the media isn't helping when they project one side of the story more than another. Its a shame how 'beliefs' create separation.
I aint going to get involved in religious discussions as i simply consider myself above that level of herd thinking, but everybody is in their rights to believe what they want.
Unfortunately, these religions (in fact, all of them!) create separation between people who in the end are all exactly the same, except for ethnic and language reasons.
Its sad to see how britain is turning into what it is, i speak to many expats where i live and they are fuming as to how the UK is turning into anything but british, between european imigrants right down to extremist religious beliefs.

As a non-Christian, I feel safe in telling you your interpretation of those passages is wrong. Jesus sacrifice (according to Christian doctrine) was EXACTLY what he was referring to when he said "until all is accomplished" and that he came to fulfill. Once he was sacrificed, all of those Old Testament laws and restrictions were lifted since he was the final sacrifice.

Additionally your FBI resource is SEVERELY lacking in terms of terrorist attacks in the US and only has events up till 2005. Since 2001 the number of islamic related terror attacks in the US has skyrocketed.
