Makes me want to puke

Notice the article says he was released from prison in 1991 also. And he's got some lady tagging along with him too. Them's just some fucked up folks......

Garrido told NBC station KCRA of Sacramento in a telephone interview Thursday from jail that he has turned his life around.

"Wait until you hear the story of what took place at this house," he said. "You are going to be completely impressed. It's a disgusting thing that took place with me at the beginning. But I turned my life completely around and to be able to understand that, you have to start there."
He added: If you take this a step at a time you're going to fall over backwards and in the end, you're going to find the most powerful heart-warming story."

The guy won't last long in prison talking like that; he'll stay in segregation until someone "forgets" to lock the cell, then he will make some new friends.

raped and gives birth at 14...

Garrido is on lifetime parole for previous rape and kidnap charges dating back to the 70s, yet despite regular home visits by parole board officials they failed to notice the three extra people living in Garrido’s backyard. The parole officers claim it was an easy mistake to make as the prison where Jaycee Dugard and her children have been held for the past 18 years was hidden behind a tarpaulin flap.

incompetence. there you go kidnappers on parole - get yourself a tarp and you should be good to go.

I can't believe neighbors didn't know anything was up. I mean, you grow some weed under a tarp in your backyard and neighbors are on the phone that night. The damn SWAT team breaks in and shoots your dog in 3 days.

But, you keep a teenage sex-slave in the backyard for 18 years and it's "Oh, maybe they like to live like that."

I mean, I don't expect everyone to spy on each other all the time, but what ever happened to "Hi there, we just moved in next door and wanted to introduce ourselves. What's with the shed surrounded by razor wire?"

There is no punishment suitable for this animal and his piece-of-shit wife.
He's irrevocably damaged so many people's lives, from the kidnapped girl, to the 2 daughters he fathered w/her (who've never been to a school or doctor and who have both grown up with such a fucked-up view of reality that it breaks my heart), to the kidnappee's family.

Even life in prison would be nowhere near "justice". Just execute him tomorrow, and get him the fuck off this planet.
