I grew up in the area and remember this like it was yesterday:

Garrido told NBC station KCRA of Sacramento in a telephone interview Thursday from jail that he has turned his life around.
"Wait until you hear the story of what took place at this house," he said. "You are going to be completely impressed. It's a disgusting thing that took place with me at the beginning. But I turned my life completely around and to be able to understand that, you have to start there."
He added: If you take this a step at a time you're going to fall over backwards and in the end, you're going to find the most powerful heart-warming story."
Dude should hang from his balls.
I'm reminded of how utterly fucked up some people are.
I say put him in a wood chipper legs first, at "1 foot per minute" speed.
If you take this a step at a time you're going to fall over backwards and in the end, you're going to find the most powerful heart-warming story.
Garrido is on lifetime parole for previous rape and kidnap charges dating back to the 70s, yet despite regular home visits by parole board officials they failed to notice the three extra people living in Garrido’s backyard. The parole officers claim it was an easy mistake to make as the prison where Jaycee Dugard and her children have been held for the past 18 years was hidden behind a tarpaulin flap.
