How do you know pissing on them is nearly as bad as what they have done? Do you know why those Taliban were killed? Do you know if they killed others? Do you know anything about the dead?

Maybe those dead were pissing on a dead Marine right before they were killed - does that justify it? Not really. But certainly would explain it. All I was saying is that we jump to conclusions without knowing the situation.

People do rape. Some soldiers do rape. There are bad/evil people in this world. The difference is that the Culture behind the US Army does not condone it and would seek justice. Whereas in many cases rape is condoned by the Taliban. My reference was more toward items we read such as those in the following links:

My point exactly. The leadership of the US would not condone this behavior. You can never control every dumb thing a person does, yet you cannot condemn the whole Country/System for those within it that make dumb decisions.
You are right. That is all we know. That is why I think it is better to not jump to conclusions. Let the evidence/investigation tell the story. Is it likely these were just a few dumbasses - Yes.
The ultimate price? Death is not always the ultimate price. You do not know the lives of these soldiers. For many people, to have to continue to live is far more costly than to die. Once again, you are making presumptions.
In thread after thread I offer a legitimate contrary opinion that challenges the presumptions of many. It amazes me how many here are very smart and yet fail to realize they do not actually know how the world itself operates. I too was young at one time and thought the same way. I was convinced. But age and experience has brought a perspective that was inconceivable when I was young.

1. Religion - Thus far on WF misinterpretation of the Bible abounds and yet few understand the compatibility of Christianity with Science an Logic. I have always supported my positions.
2. Economics - I force those with theory to apply their knowledge to the real world. We can talk of the Gold standard, but I was showing that it is not necessarily desirable and no one could even tell me how "Capital was being destroyed".
