I want to point out that most people are happy to pay for health care, policing and education. The problem is, the government provides those services without competition, and without cost accountability.
It also allows for free riders, people who use those services by passing the tax bill onto the more productive members of society (this is what politicians promise when campaigning). Eventually, people who are taxed the more they produce, will do what is only rational. They will produce less and try to free ride as well. When the tax base collapses, as more people expect social entitlements, the government falls.
There is no reason why policing, education and health care cannot be provided by the market, and yield as good, if not better results than the state.
