Nothing Can Be Explained
Saw this movie on Netflix and the description sounded pretty interesting so I watched it, twice!

After you read my review I advise you not to watch the trailer since it spoils one of the best twists. I rarely give out reviews and I can tell you this movie had more plot twists than Lindsay Lohan's life. It's like Momento and Ocean's 11 had a threesome with Entrapment. Lots of symbolism in this movie too.

The only downside of this movie is that it's in another language but definitely worth the watch. Subtitles are a good size on Netflix. It has the actor that plays Jaime Lanister in Game of Thrones.

I give this movie 10/10. It has a 7.5 on IMDB which is pretty good, especially for a foreign flick. The entire movie was genius. Movie is about this Headhunter who is also an art thief and uses his job as front to interview a wealthy men and see if they own any expensive art pieces. He comes across this one guy who he interviews who happens to have this $100m art piece.

Cool, I shall watch it.

Other good foreign flicks on Netflix:

Let the right one in (Swedish version) - vampire movie with a twist
Thirst (Korean) - also an excellent vampire movie
Sin Nombre -
spanish language film about MS13 and illegals
Old Boy -
very fucked up Korean revenge movie
Pusher - danish drug dealer social realism
Troll Hunter - norwegian mockumentary about a troll hunter

Other suggestions welcome.

I love Oldboy, one of my favorite movies. The Vengeance trilogy in general is amazing. The last one "Lady Vengeance" is genius. But Oldboy is definitely the most mindfucking!

Definitely going to watch those tonight!
Yes! Loved this movie!

Yeah I saw that movie it's sick. You should see "I Saw The Devil" if you liked that one. Someone from Wickedfire is actually related to the actor!

^^ Most interesting films these days are from Asia and Europe. It's a long time since Hollywood bothered to actually make films with stories and something to say. It's all gimmicks and remakes. Sucks, but true.

Yup Awesome movie. I usually put off watching foreign films but you get used to the subtitles easily if the storyline is good.

Here is my recommendation:
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0V8ZJ_8qARs]The Intouchables (2012) Official Trailer [HD] - YouTube[/ame]

I Stand Alone & Irreversible: both very hard-hitting films from the director Gaspar Noé. I actually prefer the former, but Irreversible is more popular.

The Monica Belluci rape scene made my cock rock hard, not gonna lie.

I would give headhunters a 7/10. Quite good but nothing special. I didn't feel very connected to the characters in the movie.

My favourite foreign film has to be La Vita e Bella (Life is Beautiful). Starts as a light hearted comedy but slowly descends into the war and the holocaust. Fantastic movie.

If you're more into action then I remember Old boy and the Raid being particularly interesting. Also throw in The Lives of Others and The Wave if you like a bit of tension in your movies (you libertarians would love The Lives of Others).

Movie watching rule #1. If its not in English, it is not watchable. If I want to read I will pickup a book
