My POF Journey & Case Study

^ why was he banned ?

as a side note, ben in the cross tab report, where you have the clicks/conversion rows for each category, it'll be great if there was a "conversion rate" row added to it (feature request)

makes it easier to see what's working in a given cat

prolly that pick up thing....

Hey Kazu, can you email me with a more detailed explanation & why you'd want that? Just something I can forward to the development team :)

-joe- POF is like 90% Caucasian so I don't know if that'd be useful :( So Natives convert at a 30% rate... too bad you'll only be able to spend like $5/day on the entire demo, know what I mean?

good to see your back, kinda weird you got banned all of a sudden....

I think someone here doesn't like where your case study is going... LOL.

Update 3-30

Hey Guys,

I got banned for the thread I made like 3 months ago, I guess it didn't sit too well with one of the mods. In anycase, I'm sure this will get back to him eventually so........... I promise I won't solicit my pick up stuff anymore, I just want to:

1. Help others learn POF
2. Help myself learn POF
3. Give Ben some good PR for his platform, which I definitely believe has huge room for profitability

Anyways, I'm just getting my prosper202 sorted out, TOTAL POS btw, it was a real pain in the butt to set up, it was probably more difficult to set up than a basic xrumer setup. Also been tweaking our excel model to work with the downloadable spreadsheets on POF and P202. Whatever, it's in the past, moving foward.... I did pick up a new case....

Questions & Lessons Learned

1. I got a hold of Will Souzas WSO from warrior Forum, he says he cuts his ads

1. after 2000 impressions & no clicks
2. After 4000, if ad is below .1% CTR

Thoughts???

2. When going about split testing a demographic, how many impressions do you guys through @ it before you make a decision?

3. How long do you let an ad run without any conversions? I seriously had an ad with like 60 clicks and 0 conversions, good CTR but SHITTY ROI

4. If I were to start this process all over again, I think i might have gone w/ bevo, seems a lot snazzier and haven't heard anything bad about its functionality

Profit/Loss:
Had some issues tracking which conversion went to which ad, but we're roughly losing a dollar for every 2 we spend, but hey, we haven't started optimizing yet.

Look into using landers to increase your conversion rate too. Even if it's a POS lander, I honestly believe there needs to be a sale step between ad and offer. Not many offers out there are good sales pages, most are sign up pages.

I've had guys go from 5% conversion rate to 20% conversion rate w/ a split tested lander so it's worth doing (AFTER you've optimized the ad side of things).

So does this mean I get free pickup chicks skills? HAHAHAHA. Wish I had that shit 2 years ago when I was actively POF'ing as a single :)
