Nice! I might list a few of my domains on there (ultimatefighter.info, freeteethwhitening.org, etc) once you open it up.

SDCard.net (one of today's domains) is the first submission I've accepted, feel free to PM me your portfolio.

As far as today's auctions are concerned, all of 'em will end at 2 PM EST (6 hours left). Here's how things stand so far:

SDCard.net - $980

An impressive exact match domain name with 6,120,000 broad global monthly searches and 368,000 exact match global monthly searches, a gem which is just waiting to dominate the 1st page of Google!

Brasieres.mx - $12

The best Mexican domain on the market at this point. "Brasieres" is a Spanish word that means "bras". We're talking about a HUGE term and a billion dollar industry, need we say more?

TaguaNuts.com - $51

Tagua nuts are used as an elephant ivory replacement and since there will be more and more elephant ivory interdictions in the future, tagua nuts obviously represent an extremely attractive alternative.

Aussprache.com - $45

Premium one-word German dot com domain. "Aussprache" means "debate", "talk" or "pronounciation", depending on how the word is used.

ShetlandHorses.com - $1

A domain name with a lot of potential end users. Everyone knows how expensive anything related to horses is and that alone says it all, definitely a domain with "buy and hold" value.

CanadianFlights.com - $82

Registered back in 1999, this gem is just waiting to be picked up by a Canadian airline or monetized as a ticket booking website. The term "Canadian flights" has 22,200 broad global monthly searches, 2,400 exact match monthly searches and an average CPC of $1.76.

ColorfulWallpapers.com - $30

Wallpapers have always been extremely popular and you just can't go wrong with this domain, we'll let its 6,600 exact match global monthly searches and its 14,800 broad global monthly searches do all of the talking.

ForumPosts.com - $136

This much is certain: forums have been and will continue to be extremely popular. With its 60,500 broad global monthly searches and 6,600 exact match global monthly searches, this domain represents the best possible choice if you are interested in offering forum posting and/or maintenance services.

The Auctionpus.com Team BUSTED the First Fraudster

Today, someone signed up for an account and placed bids on all auctions. Naturally, we were worried and tried to call him several times. Nothing. His email account wasn’t valid either. Needless to say, his ass is banned and bids deleted. Want to find out what we KNOW happened?

A Sabotage Attempt

By someone who hates our guts. Who would that be? We don’t know for sure but there aren’t a lot of possibilities. Motive, motive, motive. That says it all. What this idiot doesn’t know is that we’re monitoring everything 24/7 and, whenever there’s something even remotely suspicious, we’ll pick up the phone and call that bidder for verification purposes.

Dear Fraudsters, We Know Something You Don’t

If you’re smart, you’ve already figured out what I mean. If not, try to pull another stunt like this and you’ll find out the hard way.

I have coded some fraud protection tools on auctionpus already and they are getting more and more fleshed out and advanced as time progresses.

It's all a matter of finding the right balance between fraud protection tools and intuition, only a complete idiot would think that fraud is not an issue worth taking into consideration. We have to assume that everyone is out to get us and act accordingly, not monitoring the site 24/7 would be a HUGE mistake IMO.

As far as today's auctions are concerned, there's less than an hour left and, as always, I'll keep you guys posted :)

FWIW, I hate the domain auctionpus.com. The site idea is cool though.

You need to build the site out more. When first visitng the site, I had no idea what to do. I see these domains are for sale, but what do I do? You need buttons that say "PLACE A BID" or click here or something. The Sign Up and Login links are buried on the bottom of the page. How about implementing a FB open graph registration/login system, and have the login at the top of the page?

I realize this is in the early stages, but it needs some more work (I'm sure you are aware). It's a great idea and I wish you luck. Let me know if you want some more opinions :)

I love the idea and sincerely hope that it gets some traction. Are you planning on promoting at domain-specific forums? There's a lot of talk about the issues that lead to Bido closing, and Latona does not seem to be planning on continuing their daily auctions, which leaves a gape in the market.

there's not a ton of structure in the current design, so I made this real quick, if you want the psd pm me.

I have like 4 domains that could probably fetch some decent coin that i'm not using and don't plan on developing. What are my chances of getting them sold on your site?

@dreamache: WOW, thanks a LOT, PM on its way!

PM me the list and I'll see what I can do :)

Today's grand total: $1,502

As far as today's auctions are concerned, I've got this "Thursday Twins" singular + plural thing going on:

AxleCap.com
AxleCaps.com
RuchedDress.com
RuchedDresses.com
MahjongPuzzle.com
MahjongPuzzles.com
PineHeadboard.com
PineHeadboards.com

As usual, the auctions will end tomorrow at 2 PM EST.

your "Thursday Twins" singular + plural thing sucks

If I'm buying a domain I don't want to think about some other jackass who may be winning the plural at the same time who may try to stick it in my butt and I don't want to buy both. But thats just my opinion.

your "Thursday Twins" singular + plural thing sucks

If I'm buying a domain I don't want to think about some other jackass who may be winning the plural at the same time who may try to stick it in my butt and I don't want to buy both. But thats just my opinion.

The thing is, nobody can deny the fact that owning the singular as well as the plural can help a lot, so I wanted to test the "Thursday Twins" approach and see how the market reacts.

At this point, I want to basically find out what the market wants and implement changes accordingly. If people prefer short domains, I'll list more short domains. If, on the other hand, they want more product name dot coms, I'll list more product name dot coms and so on.

Auctionpus.com has only been around for 4 days, there's no such thing as a flawless application or business model. For example, we've just noticed that the system didn't count the bids of one specific user in some cases (most of his bids were counted but in 2 cases, something went wrong).

How fucked up is that? We've tested the script like maniacs but no matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to fix each and every bug, there's always gonna be the occasional surprise. The user in question (a WF member btw) helped by sending us a screenshot and the bug in question has now been fixed but that doesn't mean we can guarantee that nothing will go wrong.

Only a moron would state something like "Our script/site/approach is the best thing since sliced bread, we never ever make mistakes". Maybe the "Thursday Twins" approach was a good idea, maybe not. I honestly don't know and that's why I'm asking the market for help.

I'm not afraid to admit this: I make mistakes, I make bad decisions but I always take feedback into consideration. For example, Unarmed Gunman recommended another bid display system. I asked you guys what your opinion is and it turned out that I was wrong and he was right. Victory made things happen and as of today, we're switching to the bid display system UnarmedGunman recommended.

Oh and there are about 90 minutes left 'till today's auctions end, I'll keep you guys posted :)

Good concept, just submitted a few domains I think would do well for ya.

PM received, thanks.

Only about 30 minutes left and btw: the numbers you see on the homepage are the minimum bids you guys have to place. In order to find out what the current bid is, subtract $10 (I went with $10 increments). In other words, you need to bid $11 atm (which means that the current bid is $1 aka one dolla aka ballin' outta control!).
