Pretty much everything the western world knows about what goes on inside there comes from the US government, and then the media reports it to us.

Have you never seen any tourist reports from NK? Many people visit it and manage to take pictures (although they are accompanied by "supervisors" and are allowed to make photos only at some official sites).

It's an absolutely poor, undeveloped, with barely any gas or electricity, militarized totalitarian country full of prisoners and without any contact with an outside world. Just like USSR was at some point, only smaller (that is why maybe easier to control).

I am not saying NK is the most evil spot on the map. I am saying it is exactly what it seems without any US propaganda. And it does have aggressive rhetoric. And it is unpredictable.
