Now, down to strategy again.
We won't know where frothy's delegates go until he decides to endorse someone. (And even then they won't all go over to Romney for sure... Many of these uber-Christians simply won't vote for a Mormon. Paul should get this small percentage by default.)
We DO know that Newt has been in the red for weeks now and he's out too, just not officially yet. Since during 50% of the debates Gingrich kept sucking up to Paul it isn't too unreasonable to hope he'll endorse Paul over Romney, but that's not for sure yet either.
That makes this a 2-dude race for the nomination... With Romney in a clear lead.
The last Delegate count that didn't sound too slanted was from LemonGlobal:
If we give 100% of Newt's delegates, and 30% of Frothy's delegates to Paul, (just my own guesses) what we're left with is:
Romney: 649
Paul: 519
Which is much closer than before! If Paul were allowed to start winning some states he could literally win the nomination without the brokered convention at all.
