No more Amazon for Ca affiliates..

Yeah, just got the termination email, even though I updated my address to my overseas address, logged in and it says account terminated, a little too slow I guess.

Hell, I love Myrtle. I may be packing my shit here in So. Cal and moving down there sooner than I thought.

Do it. It's so cheap here. There are foreclosures for sale in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle, Conway (right near by) etc. You can get a steal of a house right on the beach for $200,000 or less for a 4BR.

Thankfully, I have a side business in Texas too. Updated my address, time to get my DISSOLVING on and move the biz somewhere that deserves my presence.

Hey, we welcome you to Texas buddy. Let me know if you need something.. I have lived in Houston, and Dallas I want to go somewhere else more "techy".

Personally, I am thinking Austin.

Its almost worth just moving everything overseas. Maybe a country like andorra. So tired of the nanny and taxes and rules in the usa.

Do you go to any of the startup events around Dallas? Each week there seems to be at least one happy hour, hackathon, poker game, startup incubator conference, or just random shit going down at CoHabitat and Techwildcatters. Dallas is pretty techy.

Texas is safe for at least 2 years now. They closed down the congress today, and the proposed Amazon/nexus bills died along with it.

Who knows what the political landscape will be in 2013 and if there isn't some federal "solution" to internet sales tax. My plans to move the biz out of state are shelved for now.

I don't know the answer here but it may be possible to simply do an LLC or S-corp in another state, have a mail box address, have the company own the sites, and continue living in CA. May be worth checking into.
