why are those guys even on tv? al sharpton and jesse jackson are the worst examples for black people. I bet barack hates them.
 
OK, it could be because we really don't have much of a black population here, but can someone explain to me what the connection between black people and monkeys actually is?

A friend from the States once told me that Al Sharpton is about as representative of the black community at large as Fred Phelps is of the white.
 
You guys can say what you want to make yourselves feel better but if you compare a race of people to an animal, it's racist. Obama is a part of that race. Comparing him to the animal that has for hundreds of years been used as part of the degradation is going to cause a stir.

That being said...he is the president and he will be the butt of many jokes. Just don't try to slip the racist ones in there and then look all innocent and say "What?"

I'm black and it was pretty obvious to me from the start that the intent was to show that we have monkeys in D.C. writing our laws. NOT compare Obama to a monkey as a black man. It was also perfect timing to use a chimp that was shot dead by a cop considering the chimp that was in the news this week after being shot dead by a cop.

FYI Obama didn't even write the stimulus bill. In fact he probably hasn't even read it all himself....

However comma..... I have to say that if a person was smart and witty enough to do political cartoons like that professionally, then I have to believe they are smart enough to KNOW that people would draw that comparison considering the times and our newly elected first black president. And they did it anyway. So yeah..... draw your own conclusions.
 
Where was Sharpton when the liberals called George Bush every name in the book. Where was Sharpton when liberals said George Bush hates black people. Fuck all of them.

exactly. yes there is racism, but in people like al sharton, 90% of it is in his own head.

That's the problem right there. Nobody even read the stimulus bill before they passed it. Obama said there would be a "5 day grace period" for them to read it then vote. Did this happen NOPE. Instead, the Democrats just passed it literally the next day. And then I love how Obama is saying how "urgent" it is for them to pass the bill, then he takes 5 days to sign it after it has passed.

How come the market has been down almost every day Obama has stepped into office? I gave up trying to go long term, now I just short everything after Obama or one of his team speaks.
 
Now THAT is just fucking ridiculous! Sharpton's comments and outrage are the things that keep racism alive in this country. They create needless friction and animosity out of nothing. In fact, i think if you thought that the monkey was representing obama then you probably should concider yourself a racist in some shape or form and not sit here and tell people how that cartoon was racist. To me a person's race does not even register unless i specifically think about it... This cartoon was clearly representing the stupidity of the people who wrote our last bill - who said they were white, black, hispanic or whatever?!?! It was a clear jab and the avg IQ level of the previous administration... Couldve been fuckin escimos!
 
Definitely worked as a litmus test that the stupid, crazy NAACP and Sharpton and every black person looking for attention just failed.

Pathetic, they got pwned by the NY post. Can someone please write an article about their failure?

If anyone should be outraged... maybe PETA? Every time they get mad about something hot naked chicks appear, so I'm ok with that.
 
If you can't see the difference between how they made fun of george bush, and how this was used, you're an idiot.
