If it was PBS I don't have to watch that to know they were soft on him or he was very well rehearsed. I'd love to see a Limbaugh/Obama debate. It'd go PayPerView and I would gladly grab a bucket of popcorn and make a night of it. Unfortunately that won't happen since Obama turned him down (wisely).
How about you fucking retards watch the interview he did with Jim Lehrer last week.
Online NewsHour | PBS
There is no teleprompter, and he is asked honest tough questions to which he gives thoughtful and intelligent answers.
I don't care if you don't like his policies or if you don't agree with his platform. Arguing that this man can't think on his feet or can't communicate is bullshit.
That interview is 18 minutes, its worth your time to actually watch it.
If you have principles, it is relatively easy to articulate a position on various common political issues. Ron Paul is not a very articulate speaker, even though he has gotten much better in the last year, but because he has a set of principles to work from, he doesn't have to avoid making concise statements.Perhaps. But, it suggests a need on Obama's part for prompts. The examples given in the Politico article by people trailing the stump seem to support that suggestion.

And I know, Ron Paul would never be elected. I get that. But shouldn't the standard for clarity and honesty be higher the greater the office?
