Welfare Reform, Phase Two by Steven Malanga, City Journal Winter 2009

This only shows me what welfare reform will do over a period of time. Give BO and the rest of the communist time, they will try to push these numbers back up.

The whole idea behind the Liberal's welfare policy is to get as many people on the system as possible. This will give them a voting base of sheeple that will vote Liberal to keep the free stuff.

Did any of you take that test to see how you would do? Just curious.

I got one wrong. The stupid senator question, mostly because I understood in incorrectly , I thought they were asking about caps (like the presidency is 8 years) so I said "endless" which is true, if that were actually the question. DOH.
Doubt anyone cares, but "elect" implies that they want the number of years in a term. You can't vote once for a politician to be elected for endless years, but you can vote every six years for a compiled total of endless years. (Fuck AP Govt)

Some of them may have that idea, but it was the welfare reform signed by Bill Clinton that started the drop. The article I linked to does point out that Nancy Pelosi voted against it. It's also worth pointing out that those on welfare are one of the groups least likely to make it to the voting booths.
