Ok So I admit it -- I lust over a Fuckin Hyundai

Because then you are in Benz/BWM territory and the point is lost. The win of the Elantra/Sonata is getting higher end features/qualities/warranty for lower end price. Get your Jew game proper. And that thing is fugly in person.

Was a joke. I'm sure its a nice car and all, but no - never would I pay that much for a Hyundai.

I do have to admit though, Hyundai has gone to a whole new level with their latest vehicles. You could put a Mercedes logo on this sonata and most people wouldn't know the difference:

I'm not branded at all. I just don't care anymore. Drop a 100k on a car and I wouldn't give you a second look at a stop light. But I do like fun and comfort. My dad bought a 2011 Sonata and it is both. Love the way it tracks. Just toss it into any curve and it's 2 finger controllable with 4 people in the car.

Drove it down to Key West to deliver it from a cruise they were on. Close to thousand mile trip with only two stops. Could have made it with one stop fuel wise. Just over a 500 mile range.

Don't think I would buy one but it made me smile for a few hours.

My mom used to drive a 1994 Hyundai Accent. The paint peeled. The cup holder between the seats was designed to pry the lid off of any cup placed there. The inside door handle ripped off once.

Wtf? It's true wht they say having money isn't the same as having class.

You know who drive z's?

Douchebags running get rich quick schemes..

or Asians.

I don't know anything about car models and brands. Never cared. But after starting IM and lusting after the power and ego money can feed, I started noticing cars. I kept commenting on cars as we'd see them, and finally my lady told me that all these different cars I kept mentioning were actually the same car make and model...

The Nissan 350z.

This thing just looks bad ass. So then I get excited because I see a red one parked in our parking lot of the apartment complex. I keep wondering who drives it. Then finally today, I see the driver... It's this 17 year old girl whose dad works the night shift and they drive pieces of shit. But they bought this car for her. *disgust*

I want one. Apparently its only the 370z from now on or something.

i rented a 2011 sonata in cuba and it was the shit. Very impressed. the question is...where an i buy share soy Hyundai?

i drove a rental sonata v6 in denver a while back. not too shabby. just as good as a volvo s40.

my sister just bought one of the new Sonatas, they are actually very nice, i would use it as a grocery getter. i doubt i would trade in any of my mustangs for one, but not a bad car at all.

So a tree branch falls on da wifey's car a few weeks ago.

She rents a 2012 Hyundai Accent while her Toyota is being repaired.

The Toyota btw is Not a car that Any real driver would lust over. It is totally devoid of anything -- car guy related.

So she got a 2012 Hyundai Accent. HOLY SHIT! This fucking thing is wickedly precise. It rewards proper driving technique Better than any car I've evah driven that didn't have a rear engine and open wheels.

So any Hyundai drivers out there? What is your impression of these cars?

I mean I'm fuckin stupefied by this piece of shit!

Can you show me the picture of that car? How much would it cost?:disgust:

genesis

I drive a V8 genesis and love it. Really great car with great gas mileage also. I am not a brand snob and feel like overpaying for the technology. I also despise all the brand snobs who think they have "Status" when they have a mercedes/bmw but have a shitty house. Hyundai is setting themselves up to be the new luxury brand. Their equus is really nice and you dont have to pay branding $ on it.
