The largest bureaucracy this country will ever see for less than 4% of the population? Kiss my ass. And anyone who thinks that because Mass instituted universal health care, that it somehow insinuates hypocrisy among republicans is a fucking moron. That's fucking states rights for you. That's how it is supposed to be! If the people of Mass want universal health care, fine, let them have it. If the people of Colorado don't, fine, they don't. Why do you think we have states in the first place? Why do you think it was a requirement before a state JOINED the union that they draft a state constitution? Read the 10th fucking amendment, which clearly says that this is a state issue. God fucking damn it, it's not that fucking hard. Fuck! This country is doomed.
Yes, you're one of the few that has actually examined the numbers behind that atrocious "46 million uninsured" talking point.
It's only when somebody looks under the surface of those alleged 'uninsured' that they realize what a huge crock of shit it is.
First of all, look at how many people actually have insurance.

Then look at the breakdown of that "46 million":

This is where you begin to realize they jimmied the numbers. Out of the 46 million:
- 11 million are eligible for Medicaid/SCHIP or are a counting error
- 9 million are foreign nationals, i.e. NOT U.S. citizens
- 10 million make THREE times the federal poverty level. I.E, they've got MONEY
- 5 million are young healthy adults who could give a fuck about insurance
That only leaves 11 million who are poor and actually need insurance.
In other words, 3.6% of the American population.
I'll say that again.
3.6% of the American population.
They want to fundamentally change the ENTIRE American system for less than 4% of the American population. That's insane.
It's a giant scam. What they really want to do is set up a giant system that we're all beholden to. And they had to inflate the numbers because when you look at it, it's not nearly as catastrophic as they claim. It's a huge fucking con.
