The truth is feminists fight for the rights of women only. Once they get the same rights they don't stop. Logically once they get more rights than men they should start fighting for men rights or to take down some of their rights to make things equal. But it will never happen.

I am dumber for reading this thread, but this reminded me of story. Old bud of mine described this pretty well. You're out in a group with your bros and you spot a herd of girls. There is usually a cow in the herd and one of your bros has to take it for the team and make it his job to cut the cow from the herd. It's usually pretty easy to cut the cow because she isn't used to getting any attention so the designated cow cutter just has to suppress his gag reflex and flirt a little. The rest of the herd will usually be tickled pink about it which makes it easier than normal to swoop in on the herd. Yeah, this works in theory if someone is actually willing to bite the bullet and keep the ugly chic(s) occupied long enough ... but it very rarely goes down that way... it's like the fat bitches have some sort of super-hearing ability for bras unsnapping... Because its usually right after that point they start pounding their meaty fists on the door yelling about how they need to get home.... then u are like 'fuucckkkk'

Choosing this picture shows how narrowly you are defining feminism. Women still can't dress like Hooters girls in some parts of the world because of rules that were created and enforced by men.

The type of feminists that fit your definition are not the types to stand in front of a Hooters restaurant with a sign. The type of feminists you are describing actually take efforts to do things that make a difference it the political realm: a totally different story. I have no issues there.

My pet peeve is the type of feminist depicted in the image I referenced.. which is the vast majority of the self-proclaimed feminists out there. It's not a very narrow perspective if you consider what percentage actually make up the difference.

True, it takes real dedication to keep the cow away from the herd and despite the strength of the bro code a lot of bros just won't go the distance to ensure their bros don't suffer unfortunate interruptus.

I see where you are coming from, but how many feminists a year protest Hooters? It can't come close to the number of them who went topless in the 1960s, and many of these women are still alive, some of whom live in nudist colonies. Feminism is more linked to 60s hippie culture than it is with protesting Hooters or Playboy. A few feminists protest and then the media highlights this and people assume it represents the majority of feminists on the planet, just like some think that PETA represents all animal rights people.

Also, keep in mind that you won't find people in most western countries being as uptight over the human body as they are in the USA. Europeans are more used to seeing nudity in magazines, tv, and at the beach, so their feminists are probably less concerned with things like Hooters.
