You got it wrong. They DO have a football player at QB and that's the problem. They need a QB at QB.
Nah, I got it right. Tebow is a Football player who can't throw. Id take him on the bears as a fullback, as I'm sure most teams would.
Or Even for special formations such as the wildcat or How the Steelers used Kordell "Slash" Stewart.
Tebow under center at the 1 yard line would be a luxury for every team.

Doing the superbowl shuffle for a class skit (I was sweetness) is what got me interested in football. Your team has been a disgrace ever since. Arguably, you've made exactly ONE solid draft pick (urlacher) in the past decade and a half.
I'm an agnostic football fan, keeps my mind clear for fantasy and just appreciate the sport for what it is. I'm saying that to put this statement in comment in context for you .. the bears have been an embarrassment for almost as long as I can remember. Even the Cardinals have had brighter days.

Seattle isn't high on Jackson. He is fine as a stop-gap quarterback but its pretty obvious where his ceiling is and that he is an average QB at best. It will come down to how they feel about manning more than how they feel about Jackson.
I still don't think he will come here. I doubt we are even interested in paying an aging QB with neck problems the kind of money that he will demand. With that said though, if they do bring him here all I can do is trust them because every move Carrol/shneider have made have been excellent, aside from the Whitehurst trade.
So the bears have had 1 Good draft pick in the last 15 years and yet they have gone to the Superbowl and won 4 Division Championships in that span.

Their impressive superbowl run included beating the saints and seahawks at home. Combined with fantastic NFC north records of their competitors

Comparing the Browns to the Bears? The Bears have played in 8 Playoff games in the last 10 years. Would have been more, but 4 playoff appearances were FIRST ROUND BYES.

When trying to justify your team is good (or in your case, even worth watching), it's usually best to not make the browns your standard for excellence. I wasn't comparing, only pointing out the honesty of each's fans. You guys are flat out delusional thinking you can play with the better teams.

Like the real sport, in fantasy there is only one winner each year, something that no bear has achieved since Ditka. And that was before I had even kissed a girl.
I'm not a big fan of the NFL, so I may be a bit off with this but wouldn't Manning to the Ravens be a good thing? Seems like the Ravens have a very solid team with a next-to-nobody at QB. Imagine if they had a competent QB running the offence?

Let's see after Free-agency what the rosters look like, as is, the bears did just fine when healthy. Started 7-2 before Cutler went down.

Cardinals? Naw...I think they're still sold on Kolb. Plus, Arizona's line is porous. Manning would get killed back there. I would be very surprised if Arizona went after him.
Seahawks...I agree with you about Zach Miller. He was wasted over there last year staying in to block. Peyton loves throwing to his TEs though so if he signs, Zach Miller goes back to being a Pro Bowler. Sydney Rice might be banged up every year but it's possible that if Peyton goes somewhere, his receivers could be coming with him. Maybe they can get Wayne or "The French Waiter" to come over to help with the transition and provide insurance in case Rice goes down again.

Yeah I'm all for Flynn because of the connection and even with Mike Sherman as OC, he has the same west coast offense as packers. But the owner, Stephen Ross, wants Manning real bad (according to reports). I wouldn't mind seeing Peyton + Wayne to miami, that would be awesome. If they get Manning, I hope they draft Tannehill at No. 8 to sit behind Manning for 2 years.
