Ive been running some POF lately. I got a few campaigns that have great ROIs but I just cant seem to get up volume. Even cranking up the bid to like 0.6$ wont do the trick. Im at default frequency cap of 5. Those are non US campaigns dating campaigns btw and Im currently only using 110x80 to test out if its right for my traffic.

create multipul campaigns, especially in the UK where there is a lot of inventory availible at 20 cents. The way the system is working right now if you create 3 campaigns your traffic will increase by a factor of 6-9... The way it works is if we don't have 3 types of ads to show at 20 cents we don't show anything. if you have 3 campaigns all 3 of your campaigns could show up at once...

Inappropriate Image: Excessively large breasts

What's up with this bullshit? Your telling me that older men are not capable of seeing a girl with anything over a B cup? She got cloths on, its not our fault men like to click on hot chicks. Perhaps you can stop hiring Mormons, Muslims, and Amish to approve the ads. I thought POF was above this FaceBook crap.

+1

This shit is getting ridiculous lately. Excessively large breasts? WTF? If the woman has clothes on what is the big deal. I'm getting real annoyed with having profitable campaigns retro-fucked with these dumb ass guidelines. </vent>

my ads are now getting disapproved for ridiculous reasons. the last one was "no zoosk allowed." i'm not running zoosk, nor was i advertising another free dating site.

again my shit was disapproved because of the reason "No Zoosk Ads Allowed." it isn't fucking zoosk either, and it's not a pay site. nothing in my ads is against the pof guidelines. so I sent it back in with the campaign title "THIS IS NOT ZOOSK YOU FUCKS". let's see if it works.

Same problem here. All paid dating ads getting disapproved coz "ZOOSK ADS NOT ALLOWED!!! OMG!!!"

Ah yeah, good you caught my meaning, I fucked up here

i meant to say it IS a pay site. it isn't a free site competing with POF or anything like that, so it isn't against the guidelines.

let's see if the "this isn't zoosk you fuckers" approach works.

Check your targeting also. POF is in Canada so if you forgot to target the US or whatever country you are targeting they view it from Canada and a lot of dating offers have geo targetted landers that redirect to Zoosk.

Anyone have some advice?

It's gotten pretty saturated. Def not the easy monies like when it first opened up.

I was getting great ROI too,but conversions suddenly stopped even though i'm still getting similar CTR and clicks.I've split tested the same offers on two different network but still conversions suck,no idea why.

PoF aint Facebook. I was even expecting saturation earlier. Non common niche should make a difference.

This.

I'd say 95% of the time when we see Zoosk, it's because the advertise has neglected to put in country targeting and their redirect is going to Zoosk in the US/UK/Canada/Ireland/Australia. nobodyhome, check your targeting.

OR

The offer's capped and is redirecting to Zoosk. I would double check with my network to ensure this never happens.

Ben, could you please tell us if you are working on a feature to be able to delete campaigns? I have several hundred old campaigns and its just such a pain to have them there.

Whats this crap now.

All ads are getting rejected because they don't have a call to action. I can't get anything through unless it says 'Register now! or Click here!'

While previously (24 hours ago) this was never an issue.

While I'm not sure why they're requiring this, split tests and studies have usually shown that call to actions are very helpful in increasing CTR and even conversion rate.
