These new approval policies are getting ridiculous, I mean hell. I just uploaded 300 ads and I got 0 approved on POF. Then I uploaded the same ones on Facebook and actually got 100 of them approved there!

POF approval harder than Facebook? This isn't looking good

Your approval team sure as shit like clicking the "Inappropriate Image: incorrect size, excessively large breasts, lingerie, bikini indoors etc." to everything.
 


Ben - in the USA it is normal for women to wear bikini's indoors. Friggin prude canadians!

j/k you guys do a great job. i really dont have any issue with approvals.
 
POF = pain in the ass now. As usual they started with something workable and created enough guidelines that made it a pain to work, for me anyways. I just found easier ad sources to buy ads from.

Also the "NO ADULT" rule is there for only ONE reason because Marcus doesn't want any competition sending traffic to Adult Friend Finder. He makes too much money to give that up and that is the truth. It is his site and he can do whatever he wants, his site though.

They don't like "exessive large breasts" because they take too much traffic away from POF, not because users are complaining LOL.

Also you can't do CPC ads because then POF doesn't make as much money....

Anyways if you're having trouble with POF there are many other places to advertise with less guidelines. Yes POF has great targeting but they are turning into FaceBook more and more. Why bother with POF to make a few hundred per day and work all day doing it when you can make way more other places with less stress.

Sorry POF had to get that off my chest no offense. Business is business from both ends.

word. got a phone call from him the other day asking me how i was liking the site and the advertising so far...pretty good customer service if you ask me.
 
Could one of the POF reps answer this, all of my ads are being declined because "They must have an action (sign up, register)". Yet the last line of my ad states "Click here now to register".

Seems pretty clear cut to me...

I'm sure a lot of you know this but I'm just going to re-state it again for those that don't: You should be able to track your own conversions on your ads in house.

Never leave it up to the advertiser and never let the ad networks you use see both the ad and the conversions.

This is information that is always supposed to remain in your own circle.

I find that if i search for a term, say weight loss, and then search for it again 5 mins later.....the figures that come up are different (some times drastically more different) than when I last searched for it

Must mean that few users have the term "weight loss" as an interest on their POF profile :) Try something that's more likely to be mentioned.. such as "working out" or "exercising". You should see a more stable trend.

LOL, I always got them approved even with E, F & G! Just use fat women when trying those sizes. ;)
 
Love how ads getting approved is so Subjective what a joke. Give a specific and universal standard to affiliate so they don't have to shoot in the dark. Waste of time on both ends with that kind non answer you gave Ben.
