Direct linking is the cheap-ass way to do things.
Having a proper landing page can boost your profits through the roof even though, at best, you'll get a 50-75% CTR from your page to the offer.
My advice, if you have some money, is to pick a high payout dating offer and build out a "stepping-stone" page where it'll just be a continuous flow from your ad, to your page, to the offer page. Your stepping-stone page should highlight not the features of your offer but the benefits of dating.
- Finally find the love of your life...
- No longer wake up alone in the mornings...
- Have someone to talk to - day in and day out...
Also make sure your ads are creative. Too often all the titles & descriptions people put on are:
First your title ALWAYS needs to ask a question. Even if it doesn't really make sense. I don't care if there are boyfriends, my age, that are needed.
But I do care if the title is something like:
That makes most guys go,
"Well yeah, I am 20 years old now. Why do you wonder Mr. Internet guy?"
Next your description needs to create a want or need to visit your page. Most people will see a picture, read the title, and click through. Those that actually read your description are much more likely to do your end goal (because you're telling them what they should expect).
This requires something more than just casual talk like in the example above.
So something like this:
On your landing page fulfill that promise by making up a little B.S that would intrigue a 20 year old. Like...
- It's been proven that women, 22 and under, are the most sexually active...
- As you know women, around 20 years of age, are at the peak of their beauty...
By fulfilling the promise, even if they didn't know you made one (by not reading the description), you grow trust.
By talking about the "Bad News" right away, as if you're clearling your conscious, you're subconsciously growing a bond because you're telling him the problem up-front.
But anyway the picture will determine most of your success. That's what really matters. And WF isn't worth getting into that for. ;-)
