Positionly SERP Checker Sucks.

Had high hopes for Positionly and their SERP checking service, but there's a lot of issues even though it looks awesome: (https://positionly.com/)

1. They don't show past the top 100.

2. Advertise Bing/G/Yahoo? Only seeing results for Google.

3. Pricing is way too high. $50 for 250 keywords.

4. Every day, all my keywords go to >100. Zero data. Clearly bugs. My biggest gripe/why I left.

5. They make it hard to cancel. FAQ = "You can cancel, etc." BRB no instructions on how to do it. (Subscription page = no way to cancel). Only way I figured it out was to actually delete the entire account! Nice lose all my data in the process, thanks!

6. Other minor features which I won't get into don't work.

All in all disappointing, want WF to be aware. They don't offer refunds either.. So just a heads up.. I took the plunge and subscribed for $49, no big deal wanted to test it out, but meh..

I'll be sticking with Serpfox.
 


I'm a customer of MicroSitesMasters. Accurate Google SERP, but

1. Same. Only top 100
2. Same here. Only G results are accurate - samples from lots of sites.
3. Slow to load pages as shit. That's during peak, off peak, anytime.

I use serpfox too and would love to see a combined MSM function/accuracy and price with serpfox UI.

Who the fuck needs to know where their keywords are at past the 10th page?

Keyword sitting at #873 today, better go hit up BST and bump it to #870. Oh shit, just got hit with -10 penalty a couple hours later, gonna try switching out affiliate links and other random shit to see if that gets me back to #873.

I remembered rankcheckerace took 2 days to send me a confirmation email.

serpfox is good in the sense that it tracks deeper than top100.

1. Tells me when my new articles get indexed.
2. Tells me how fast/high how they rank off the bat. (Data)
3. Gives me an idea of how Google is placing my site.

I don't care if it's on #900.. If it's moving I want to find out what the pattern is and compare it to other article, keyword volumes, on-page seo modifications, etc. Like a handful of other things... No reason to discredit it.

It was a one time thing and you can blame amazon AWS for that as that's who sends out the emails.

Don't worry you can fuck off, noone will miss you.

If you want customer service - go use MSM. When you find another free service that can instantly pull data + your whole site/keyword history you can let me know.
 
Moved away from MSM to Rankcheckerace due to the weird way in which MSM updates rankings. Have they done anything with that yet?

Basically entire problem was logging in, seeing my rankings, and not being able to see when each ranking was updated. You'd have to click through to each individual keyword to see if you were seeing today or yesterday's rankings. It then just gradually dripped out throughout the day, so I'd see my ranks changing all the time but have no idea which ones were today and which were yesterday's. Drove me nuts.

No idea why anyone needs rankings below #100. It's irrelevant how fast your site is getting indexed or whatever else, if you want to check that do a quick search for the URL. If it's landing outside of the top 100, it's not relevant to you IMO. Analysing this far down the SERPs is a waste of time.

To people paranoid about rank checkers and the marketers that potentially see your keyword data - if your keywords are your only unique differentiator, your business is screwed anyway. Lets not kid ourselves anyway, who cares that you're ranking #17 for payday loans online, or #2 for diet fad of the year 2k13. I don't care what ilyas is doing with my rank data, I just want to see which of my sites are ranking. I've not found a better tracker yet, even with it's odd data problem, etc.
