PS3 or 360 (srs)

Playstation Network is free....Xbox Live is not. That is the selling point for me. I like the Xbox controllers better though...and you can mod an Xbox. Just get both. 
i got my 360 setup with a wireless adapter to stream hd movies/music/tv eps and everything else off my computer, plus the games for 360 are better.

I have the 360 and I'm happy with it. Played the PS3 only once. I was always a PS guy up till the 360 and I haven't looked back.
I use the wii for netflix, doesn't make since to play for live and netflix. Im a casual gamer, maybe 10 hours a week. Don't need online play.

I never ever use my 360. The only thing it was used for was Gears of War and Fable. All other games I have been interested have also been on the PS3. It sits and gathers dust while we play all games on the PS3, Blu-Rays from Netflix, and use the Netflix CD to watch streaming on it.
Plus xbox live = money, if you already have a media center no need for xbox connect. The thing is a big paper weight.

you'd be suprised how very not far 4g will go even if you're not a hardcore gamer. Thats like 2 game demos downloaded. Honestly I can't believe they even sell that shit.
If you're only getting one - definitely go with the 360. Some kick-ass exclusive games, excellent graphics, huge live community, tons of cool arcade games, good controllers, Netflix movies, etc.
The new 360 is $299, has wifi built in, and the port for the kinex (or whatever it's called), and a 250 gig HD.

ok im a hardcore PS3 fan so for sure im biased - but I think PS3 kinda lasts longer. I have 4 buddies I know that owned a 360 and have had major problems with them. I have actually seen them overheat their Xbox's on purpose to reset them. I have never seen anyone with a PS3 have any issues at all.
I prefer my PS3. The Uncharted series is easily the best 2 console games ever made. No fee for internet, netflix, blue ray, I personally like the PS3 controller better. Having both, I borrowed a game from a friend for the Xbox, which I already had for the PS3, and saw no discernible difference in the visuals. The game was Just Cause 2, which is a very graphic rich game (and also super fucking fun), and couldn't really see a difference. If I could only have one, I would keep my PS3.
