i'll throw in my two cents.

First i disagree about the design. the design does matter. while it may not be the most vital thing on the landing page, design hands down can affect conversion rates and bounce rates (at least from my own experiences). Then again, I used to be primarily a freelance designer before i moved to this sector of the interweb so that could just be me.

Secondly, as other people have stated, I tend to make my template as close to possible as the offer page. I usually take a screenshot, import it to photoshop, crop out all the content and see what I got. Some offer pages are absolutely so shitty that doctoring is sometimes needed, but I try to keep the overall look similar. this helps hide the jump from landing page to offer page obviously.

Cloak you aff links. Even something simple is better than nothing.
PHP:
<?php
// go.php
$kw = $_GET[kw];
$kw = rawurlencode($kw);

header("Location: http://x.azjmp.com/blahblahblah?sub=$kw");
exit();

?>

Also, try and do better research before you waste time throwing up a landing page and all that jazz. While satellite tv has pretty good high payouts, as others have said, if you primary traffic source is PPC is its going to be a lot harder. Any indication through the domain, keywords, or site that the land page is selling this type of service and Google gives you the green shaft.

Don't forget to be testing many different ad copies/creatives, because that is obviously just important.

keep working on it. good luck.

cheers
