Romney will Win. Romney: 52.9 Obama: 47.1

I know but it keeps me going. :) Hopefully, the rank and file Republicraps push the repeal through and Romney goes along. I'm only holding my breath a little.

Seems like you'd have to hold your breath until November 7th doing that:

At the time I was a VERY brainwashed conservative republican. I never heard any of Perot's arguments without the Limbaugh spin. Ugh. It kinda hurts to remember being able to think like that. :repuke:

Wow, speaking of Limbaugh spins... Or was it Hannity or Beck that said it this year?

Your tiny little MSM-derived worldview doesn't seem to have the capability to zoom out and see the bigger picture.

Your worldview can only think in terms of team red and team blue and which is the lesser of two evils. This is very unfortunate, because the more people that think like this means that the man wearing a blue puppet on one hand and a red puppet on the other ALWAYS wins and the things you think you've won in half of the elections are completely meaningless. They're just a lollipop in exchange for your soul.

In other words bro, you're a sucker. You and the majority of americans continually fall for one of the oldest tricks in the book; You're distracted by a staged fight over there while your pockets are being picked... Both the fighters and the pickpocket are all on the same team and you're the victim. That's politics in the USA. :costumed-smiley-013

If you really wanted to change things, you'd BE AFTER THAT DAMN PICKPOCKET!

I fail to see one that has any significance. Just look at their financial backers... All the same. Are you really so concerned over the tiny, itty-bitty things that they MIGHT do differently from each other if they aren't (for the first time) lying about their intentions this time?

Their main intentions are the same. History clearly shows it, all the way back to JFK. The only differences between Repugs and Demos is simply marketing.

Working within the system is exactly what got us to where we are today, and you can literally read in history books the very rules they changed time and time again to get more and more in their own favor, and less in yours.

Despite what you may think about the Liberty movement, it truly is an actual revolution that just hasn't decided yet to spill blood. Paul has helped SLOW that outcome. But one day they will be forced to do so because the establishment is giving them no choice, just like JFK prophesized. Some are arguing for it to happen this weekend, which is why tampa has spent many millions on defense.

You are wrong.

Elections do not matter.

Your masters have convinced you to fight over insignificant table scraps while they get to take all the great stuff for themselves.

They are completely, utterly rigged anyway, so even if they did matter your vote still wouldn't count.

I assume you mean Dodd-Frank? It might help a few things a tiny, itsy-bitsy-bit... But you assume that:

1. The puppetmasters didn't give Obomba that order to create it and R$ won't be required to protect it.
2. R$ Could overturn it if he wanted to given our Democrat-controlled congress...
3. R$ wouldn't try to take the easy way out and just propose "changes" to the existing bill which would in fact make it MORE evil.

That's a WHOLE lotta assumption bro. Look at history and use some common sense, and you'll see that such clean turnovers as you are hoping for are so rare that they aren't worth hoping for at all.

I used to think so, until of course the Bush-appointed "Most conservative" SCJ just upheld Obombacare last month as the swing vote... Hmphhh.

The SCOTUS has in fact been the single most responsible party after President Wilson for the removal of our liberties. Their horrifying idea of "a living constitution" is an outright unconstitutional ATTACK on the United States of America, and has allowed evil to take hold of this country through every single court case they hold involving policy.

So what makes you think that a puppet POTUS would assign a non-puppet SCOTUS when they all sport such a record of changing the laws to support the puppetmaster? Lulz...

And this is assured through a R$ presidency how?

Cap and Trade was an HW Bush creation. I hate the given solution as much as you do because it is fatally flawed and doesn't even seem to reduce any CO2 nor pollution in the first place. It's just a scam that benefits the powers that be even more.

But like the Dodd Frank stuff, what makes you think that the Puppetmasters wouldn't require the R$ puppet to defend it like all of the previous administrations did? Such an exchange would clearly benefit them.

But you know, here's the big deal that sets apart the sheeple from those of us who are awake:

The more you SETTLE for wasting all your time & energy on tiny issues like these you have listed here, the LESS FREE you are.

These are COMPLETELY INSIGNIFICANT ISSUES you're hoping can be better under an R$ administration. And in order for you to get this chance at getting them, you give up MORE FREEDOM when you vote for the lesser of two evils. Every. Single. Time.

If you vote for EITHER PARTY:

1. The government WILL get bigger.
2. The Net WILL get less free.
3. The TSA WILL get more abusive.
4. The Drones WILL spy on more citizens, maybe even get Armed.
5. The Tax laws WILL destroy more of the middle class.
6. The Tax Code and the Number of federal Laws on the books WILL both keep skyrocketing.
7. The Fed WILL keep inflating your currency towards worthlessness.
8. The IRS, DHS, FBI, and CIA all WILL keep KILLING AMERICANS with their own swat teams.
9. The 1984-inspired Technology we see popping up every single day around here WILL be used against us at an increasing rate.
10. The National Debt WILL continue to dwarf the GDP by leaps and bounds until there is no value to be found on this whole continent.
11. I could go on all day here... Just read any libertarian blog to get quite a long list to add right here.

...But go ahead and help all that happen by voting for team red or team blue in November. It's far better for all that to happen so you can have your chance at repealing Dodd Frank, amirite?

Pathetic.

I appreciate your post and much of it is true. I am approaching this from personal self interest. An easing of Dodd Frank and hopeful elimination of the unaccountable control and fear that the CFPB has brought to the market will loosen the noose and hopefully allow the markets to correct quicker and with less pain.

I will make more money in my offline world with Romney than Obama.

Plain and simple.

I also believe and will continue to believe the system can be changed from within. You do too at some level as does RP. You are pushing your points to affect change. Do it enough and change can occur.

The "Puppetmasters" are actually afraid of the people. But educating the people they have been dumbing down for decades is an uphill battle. It's too bad you never mention mobilization of the religious circles to the causes of liberty and freedom. They are large powerful voting blocks. Especially the Latin potential. Too many free thinkers ostracize the religious calling them dumb idiots who believe in a sky fairy when in fact they could be your greatest supporters.

Think about it.

RP just lost his speaking spot at RNC because the scumbags in the republican party wouldn't allow it unless it was personally vetted by Mitt Romney. He also had to endorse Mitt Romney. Thank fuck Paul has the integrity to not endorse that shape shifter.

So freedom from tyranny isn't in your own personal self interest? That list of horrifying things going on doesn't interest you, personally, at all? Sounds to me like you're approaching it from a business interest.

If your business goals are in alignment with Crony Capitalism, which is to cozy up next to the government and use their power as an unfair advantage over your competitors, then by all means, vote for R$, he's best for your cause. Of course you know, that makes you the bad guy. When the revolution comes, guess who's back will be up against the wall?

If your business goals are in alignment with the free market, then you should be taking every opportunity to remove crony capitalism.

What a tiny crumb of a table scrap. You should be ashamed of having such lowly dreams and aspirations.

I also believe and will continue to believe the system can be changed from within.
You're just wrong. They've led you to believe that but it's very, very untrue, as every Paulite can tell you in detail this year and in 2008 too. The amount of Rigging is unbelievable. Just go YouTube search "proof of election Fraud." You could watch evidence for days, including sworn courtroom testimonies by people claiming to have WRITTEN the cheat code in today's pollbooths.

R$ would not have won many states without poll fraud & media Misinformation this year. This is a fact.

You do too at some level as does RP. You are pushing your points to affect change. Do it enough and change can occur.
Sadly, both I and Ron, as does most every anarchist, believes that bloodshed will come before change. Ron can't publically say that now, can he? But once you understand his viewpoints and understand what liberty is up against, you'll see there are no other options... Just to educate as many as possible for the future rebellion that can't be avoided.

The "Puppetmasters" are actually afraid of the people.
Every farmer is afraid of making a wrong step around his herd of bulls... But they still keep livestock, don't they? America is no different.

Ron and Anarchy in general unarguably welcomes all religion with open arms... Freedom is freedom from everything, especially religious persecution, and Ron himself is pro-life christian in fact. I do not think less of him for that, although I might trust his judgement more if he didn't believe in sky fairies.

It certainly doesn't affect his job of being the messenger for the idea of liberty. In fact it may help that.

I'm frankly more concerned with the continued worldwide population boom, and its stress on oil demand/supply.

I'm frankly more concerned with the continued worldwide population boom, and its stress on oil demand/supply.

Really?

a. We have plenty of oil/natural gas etc.
b. energy is unlimited - we only lack the incentive to innovate. as supplies truly dwindle innovation will step up.

No worries.

Yes, really. Our consumption of oil is likely outstripping foreseeable demand. Production has been roughly flat and oil pricing has been inching upwards. I can't prove we're at peak oil, but there appears to be evidence supporting this.

Energy is unlimited, but oil isn't. Our infrastructure simply isn't setup to make use of the most promosing alternatives (solar / wind). Ethanol is a net negative, solar/wind have deliverability issues, tidal is intriguing but salt water is extremely corrosive, and that hybrid still takes a lot of oil just to produce.

Where I'll agree is that innovation will step up, but major shocks to oil pricing will stunt the vast majority of development. $50/gal gas is going to fucking cripple your ability to get most imported goods from ourside your locality. Will Romney be able to fix how much oil is in the ground? Nope. Neither will Obama. I don't want to be a doomer because I'm generally a positive person, but I think we're in for a huge paradigm shift that coincides with all the bankster fraud -- going to be ugly.

I beg to differ.

Saudi Arabia will act to lower soaring oil prices - FT.com

Didn't this happen in the Eighties when oil skyrocket (late 70's - 80's) then all the producers ramped up and then suddenly the floor dropped on prices and we were paying $0.72 gallon? Due to oversupply and overproduction?

Why should we think this will not happen again?

The US is poised for recovery.
  • Personal debt decreased.
  • Pent up demand for automobiles.
  • Pent up demand in companies wanting to expand but not knowing what Obama is going to do to them.
  • Pent up housing demand as a new generation wants homes and countless mutli family households that are anxiously seeking employment so they can move out and buy their own home.
  • Pent up employment needs as aging baby boomers, now working into their 70's decide to finally retire and open up work for the younger workforce.

Can't anyone see this?

We are not at peak oil yet, although it isn't that far away.

But you are wrong about infrastructure. Our natural gas reserves are significant and Shell is investing heavily in infrastructure for LNG (I would speak for other oil companies if I was more familiar with them, but I imagine this is the case for them as well).

But by the time either of those become an issue we will have an abundance of clean/cheap energy from nuclear. Solar/Wind do not need to be and will not be the next major source of energy.

What I don't get is how Americans end up paying more tax than many European countries yet don't get anywhere near the public services we do. Seems like a bit of inefficiency in the system.

I am not certain what countries you are referring to nor where you are from. In many cases you should look at how the US is playing world cop while other countries have a non existent defense budget. I wonder how these countries would be doing if they were guarding themselves, on their own, against Russia or Germany?

LULZ...

UC has wrong this time. Obomba by 65%, easily. Romney doesn't have any supporters worth speaking of at all. Just a few random idiots who don't believe in HIM, they just hate obomba... And they don't number as many as the people who have awaken and decided to either not vote or vote 3rd Party.

It is odd how little credit their findings give to other influences... It's a study on economics alone, nothing to do with their many other issues like abortion rights, who has the best hair, who likes the candidate in their own party, etc... Seems really basic to me.

Awesome! So glad you cornered yourself like that, Hellboy.

Check and Mate. You just won't know it yet until November 6th.

I'll be sure to help you remember that you thought I was the delusional one when Obomba wins.

All Romney voters are the ultimate Useful Idiots for Obomba... It's really freaking hilarious for us that can see it when you guys think you have any actual numbers.
