Romney will Win. Romney: 52.9 Obama: 47.1

First they're like :

"We continue to show that the economic conditions favor Romney"

Then they're like :

"each election has unique elements that could lead one or more states to behave in ways in a particular election that the model is unable to correctly predict"

unique element = elephant in the room = Americans Still Blame Bush More Than Obama for Bad Economy

It wasn't Bush's fault, Big Bird did that shit :

Why wait that long? The entire deficit could be eliminated withing 3 years and get the US on the road to a leaner, more viable government without bloated spending bills to mask payoffs to politician's beneficiaries.
The deficit is bad, the debt is unsustainable. Reducing the deficit and the debt obligations means a radically different America. For it to be sustainable, you'd have to decrease the number of laws to maybe 1/100th.

You'd have to downsize the military, police, education system.

You'd have to re-introduce entrepreneurship into the medical and legal professions.

I just don't see it.

I think people will do what they always do. They will ride it into the ground and then blame someone else. If you've read up on any of the great crashes in history, this is how it typically ends. Badly.

Even Ron Paul has candidly admitted he doesn't think it can be fixed, that he ran to get people informed so when a new system is built, wiser decisions are made.

That's an interesting site. Which do you have? Since you're Canadian, you're going down with our ship too :p
Answered on skype. :)

Most betting markets are putting Obama at around 1.3 to win, the best I've been able to find is 1.36. If you're more confident that Romney will win than those suggests, put your money where your mouth is.

Yup. I don't see Obama losing this one unless he starts talknig about raping children.

All I can say is the word 'change' is elusive and enchanting. We all want to hear it, and we're happy when we heard it, because change is a POWERFUL positive word.

This word has been 'misused' by many, in the context of doling out promises at per-poll meets, not realizing to what extent a positive change can be enforced, without impacting the future of our country/world.

Running a government is indeed difficult these days, because the dynamics of what can be good for the short as well as long haul can never be predicted.

Keep dreaming you two.

The bottom line is that Rmoney isn't likeable for being himself at all. NO ONE is happy about getting that flip-flopping fool in office, they just want obomba out. Therefore, not much enthusiasm, as we clearly witnessed all through the primaries.

Meanwhile, most of the minorities in this country, and absolutely everyone here who is on the government dole are still extremely, fanatically happy about obomba.

You are simply underestimating the power of the stupid vote. It's kind of a big thing here.

Meanwhile, most of the polls are rigged anyway. While that worked to help R$ in the primaries, that was just to give TPTB's pre-chosen guy (obomba) a perfect fool that he can't look bad standing beside. All of this was pretty obvious back in 2008 already. Several people predicted our exact situation back then.

Romney is on fire, but if he does win, we will surely be fucked, actually we already down in the gutter financially, oh well, who cares.

Meanwhile, most of the polls are rigged anyway.

The elections themselves are rigged. Not getting into a debate on the fruits of voting but it can't be argued that an individual vote's integrity is in any way meaningful these days with electronic voting machines and other such chicanery. Whoever tptb want in will get in by hook or crook.

All the more reason to look for symbols and signals from the elite rather than the talking heads and pollsters if you want to try speculating on who's getting the nod.

All the more reason to look for symbols and signals from the elite rather than the talking heads and pollsters if you want to try speculating on who's getting the nod.

Exactly.

The Israeli's (who supported Obama in 2008) are backing Romney and the big banks (who supported Obama in 2008) are backing Romney.

This election has been over since before the debates if you pay attention to who "the powers that be" are backing. All this other shit is just for show. Polls are just props, don't put any stock in them.

Thankfully Romney would never abuse the NDAA to murder Americans like Obama has....hahahaah

Romney used to work with Bibi Netanyahoo. They're BFF's. They call each other all the time and probably exchange pics of their peckers. Plus, Jews contribute more than half of all political money in the US. Follow the shekels! :)

There's an interesting article on campaign strategy in Politico:

Romney?s unusual in-house ad strategy - POLITICO.com

Voters in Columbus, Ohio, saw 30-second television ads for both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney while watching “Wheel of Fortune” on their CBS affiliate over three days in September. For Obama’s team, the order per spot cost $500. For Romney’s, the price tag on the order was more than five times steeper at $2,800 per ad.

That gap – found in data filed with the Federal Communications Commission — is an outgrowth of an unusual TV-buying strategy by the Romney campaign. Media strategists on both sides of the political aisle, along with station managers who handle ad placement, expressed puzzlement to POLITICO about the way Romney’s TV operation does business.

Unlike other presidential campaigns, which typically outsource their ad reservations and placement to specialized firms with large teams that know how to make the most of the complicated FCC payment procedures, Romney does all his TV buying in-house through a lean operation headed by a single chief buyer.

The campaign rarely buys cable ad time, focusing overwhelmingly on broadcast television. Romney places his commercials on a week-to-week basis, rather than booking time well in advance, and typically pays more so that his ads don’t get preempted and to spare his campaign the hassle of haggling over time as prices rise.

For those “Wheel of Fortune” ads in Columbus, for example, Obama bought the airtime on Aug. 29, according to the FCC data. Romney bought the time on Sept. 11, the day before his ads aired.

My only observation is this - beware candidates that waste donors' money - it speaks to vanity and carelessness. We saw this in the UK in the 2010 election, when the Tories had £16.7 million compared to Labour's £8 million, but the Tories wasted all their money on vanity airbrushed posters of the leader while Labour spent their money on cheap photocopied leaflets delivered door to door by volunteers. The Tories failed to win an overall majority and had to go into coalition with the LibDems. Their record on handling money in office isn't much better - they've missed all their deficit targets and have increased the national debt more in two years than Labour managed in the previous 13 years. They've been cocking up on govt contracts too - the taxpayer has been stiffed with a bill of £40 million because the Transport secretary couldn't do her sums and assess bids properly.

I guess it's similar to Sarah Palin spending a shedload on clothes for her husband and kids and sending the bill to Republican donors. Carelessness - plus the feeling they are in politics for the perks that they bill to others
