Ron Paul May 5 Moneybomb

Ron Paul doing solid work thus far.

Johnson not getting any action.

I hate Pawlenty, it's not possible to sound more fake.

I like Cain's fair tax, though I'll admit I haven't done much research into it.

Cain was a fed chairman in kansas which is kind of scary.

I would definitely support a Paul/Johnson ticket though. Johnson seems similar, but not quite as strong as RP. Pawlenty/Santorum = Bush/Obama, especially on foreign policy and spending.

Idk about anybody else's opinion, but I feel that debate had a lack of depth and was much too short. Johnson barely got a chance to speak a couple sentences and I wanted to hear A LOT more from him.

Yeh, I agree. Fox is really good at that. They manipulate questions towards the who they like. They did that a lot last time as well.

Even if RP fails, I see his son (Rand) as being the new face of RP once RP either dies or retires or loses this election (I don't see him running again if he loses).

I've heard Rand and I like what he has to say, though I admit I don't know a ton about him being that he's new.

Ron did well, but he still suffers from all the same issues he did last election in terms of coming off as "presidential". People have been saying he's since become more polished but he wasn't tonight. Johnson was also weak on that front, but less so. I liked everything Johnson had to say. He seems to be the most straight up libertarian of the bunch including RP, although Ron seems to have a much more sophisticated understanding of things like economics and foreign policy.

Depending on how things shake out I'll vote for RP or Johnson in the primary. It pretty much goes without saying that the rest of the GOP candidates are typical politician dbags and can all go to hell. I love that after all the rah-rah-rah of "never again" talk after the 2008 defeat from the GOP they've managed to produce an even more batshit insane, social conservative freak show than last time. Obama's administration basically handed them the win if they could only produce a single reasonable, inspirational fiscal conservative that doesn't make things like putting intelligent design in schools a priority.

Although I wish I could, I'm Canadian so I can't donate.

..but I have to say

RON PAUL 2012!!!

Any party that actually makes xenophobia and religious delusion a political device loses my vote immediately.

I personally couldn't vote for anyone that takes intelligent design seriously...

IMO it seems like the Republican Party is just a bunch of people clinging to their Bibles and guns.

Did anybody watch the post-interview with Johnson after the debate?

Again with the weed issue...is he trying to get pothead voters or something? It's not a good tactic...

tbh, he comes off as your friendly neighborhood philosophical stoner. That's the not "presidential" thing I was referring to.
