Ron Paul would be a fucking miracle for me...words could not express how awesome it would be if he got into office. That being said I can't see the dems taking up his causes when he wants less government and they want a fucking nanny state.

Obama would need to fuck up in much more clear and obvious ways than he has already for them to not vote for him again instead of simply continuing dubya's mistakes.

Just takes a lot of work on everyone's part to prevent that. I'm willing to put in the work and money. Looks like a lot of others ITT are too.

Paul won't win the way things are going.

Fox treats him like a middle child. If they backed him the way they're starting to back Herman Cain he'd do very, very well. I think as IMers we're deluded into thinking that everyone knows about him. Most people don't really know anything about him and I'm talking about the voters that only vote based on what they hear in news soundbites or from their coworkers.

The fact that Trump would get more votes than Ron Paul right now is scary... I wouldn't vote for Paul because I like what Obama has done, but I'd much rather have Ron Paul v. Obama than any other BS republicans.

The donation bar only goes up to $2m, is he capping it at that limit or something??

Na, they did the same thing last time. They'll raise the bar as he gains more and more momentum and $. By fall he'll be raising multi-millions on these money bomb days.

I actually thought Fox was being much more fair this time around with both Paul and Johnson. They weren't perfect, but they also weren't doing weird camera angles to make him look odd, turning up mics of people laughing in the audience, or some of other BS tricks they pulled last time around. And aside from the seemingly trick question Chris Wallace asked (not a trick asking about drug policy, but the way he posed the question was a bit trickster like IMO) I thought they asked him some reasonable questions, unlike last time around where he only got a few BS questions.
