Conservatives really fucking confuse me.

They want to preach abstinence only sex education and want to limit birth control. Then when a girl does get pregnant, she can't have an abortion. They tell her to give it up for adoption, and yet now they are banning people from adopting at all(Arkansas just passed a ban on gay couples adopting)

So, the would rather have potentially thousands of unwanted children in shitty orphanages rather than giving them a good home. Sounds like Liberals aren't the only ones with priorities fucked up.

Wtf does poverty have to do with it. There's free condoms at lots of places. As uber said, adoption is an option as well.

I'm pretty much against abortion in situations like yours. The only time I would be OK with it is in cases of rape.

Back in my home country abortion is illegal and enough people manage to raise good kids coming from poverty.

You simply took the easy way out.

I agree. I was 18 and my girlfriend was 17 when she got pregnant.
We then got married and before our daughter came along.
The option of abortion never came to mind. My daughter is about to be four years old and we have a son on the way, any day now. I know there is some situations where abortion is better then bringing the kid into this world, but very few situations. My family is in no way rich and I struggled very hard to build what I have now. I will never regret having my kids.

I thought the same thing. People that are anti-choice are loud enough against the right to choice abortions as a way to prevent unwanted pregnancies but where are they when these children are born? They shut up and go away real fast. Only to open their mouths once again about the welfare that these woman that are having unwanted children are now on. Let's now add to this hypocrisy, unwanted existing children being better off never knowing love of any parents then being with the queers.
