I fucking love SEScout, one of the best keyword tracking tools i have found.

Better than Raven or SEOmoz in my opinion.

Would be sweet ass to be able to create client accounts so they can log in to their own "sub-account" and view their site's rankings with our logo visible, i know we did this when we were using Raven and our clients LOVED it. Just my two cents if you are looking for any possible potential improvements from my end. I would be happy to pay more for an option/add on/upgrade for something like that.

Thanks for the Great tool guys!

Oh come on, man... DP and WaFo are for questions like that.

Hehehe

I thought the forum fields for these two in the signup page were some sort of trick, if you entered a username it would come back with a 'sorry all slots are currently full' message...

Hehehe

Thanks for the Great tool guys!

Now thats a great Christmas gift :) Thanks

We are working our asses off to make SEscout better and better and when we read positive feedback it really is encouraging. Unfortunately, the seo/affiliate world is not the best market to receive compliments from….

THANK YOU to every one who actually takes the time to say something nice.

Noticed the update on the interface, a few suggestions:

- Noticed that now, everytime I reload the page, I have to press on my adgroup to dropdown all the keywords. Would be nice if a reload didn't remove the dropdown of keywords.
- I like that you added the function of selecting how many entries we want per page. But can we can a save function for it? So if I select that I want 25 entries from now on, even if I refresh, it will still show up to 25.

Noticed the update on the interface,

Yeah a new dashboard update is out that fixes LOTS of bugs. There are some interface issues that we are working on, but the benefits and bug fixes were too large to hold back the update any longer.

Im guessing you are talking about the check box "Dashboard domains expanded by default" in your settings? I just added this back in.

The main new feature is SPEED! Accounts with 1000+ keywords could take up to a minute to load before... now just seconds :)

I have a question.... the traffic column in the KW positions table... what does it really mean ? it's a bit different from the google keyword analysis tool.
Can You exmplain it ? What does that number really mean ?

The keyword traffic data next to each of your keywords is from Google. If you go to google's keyword tool, you can duplicate this number by searching for your keyword with "exact" and "global" as your settings. This will show the traffic for your EXACT keyword. Some people search for "broad" or "phrase" and this simply isn't the correct data since those figures include variations on your keyword and synonyms and it wont reflect actual searches for your exact keyword ranking.

I've added this to the FAQ section.

Ok after about a day with the free plan I realized how much better this is going to be than manually checking with Rank Tracker. It's so much easier to be able to log in at any time for an update on where my kw's are at as opposed to the hour or two it took to update RT each time I wanted to check my rankings.

As far as I remember RT didn't put the search volume right next to the tracked kw's, think it was on a separate section. Having it next to the rankings is really nice and helps focus on what to look out for.

These guys look pretty serious in how they are handling this service and I've no doubt it will keep continuing to improve.

Just went to paid today can't wait to add some more kw's :)

I just added a cookie state save function, so that if you refresh the page, your pagination and sort preferences will be saved. We will add a setting in your settings page to make a more permanent preference soon.

Thanks, we are VERY serious and are excited to keep improving SEscout.

Just wanted to pop in and say a few good things about SEScout.

I was one of the first members to try out SEScout (back when it was in alpha). It's awesome to see how the tool's been improved since then. I own a lot of sites and SEScout has saved me so much time in tracking ranks and linkbuilding effects.

It keeps everything nicely grouped and it's pretty motivating to be able to see rank movement over time with just a few clicks.

backlinkgurus is really active in the development of SEScout and it shows. I'm a coder myself so I don't usually like paying for software/services, but SEScout is a truly impressive piece of work and I'll gladly fork over the monthly fee. :)

When you zoom in on the graph, why does it let me zoom in to ranks that are -1 and below? It's not a real big issue, but it's quite annoying when I am just dragging shit quickly and want to get wherever I am dragging to position 1.

Also I don't think I'll be using this for all my tracking (I usually like to track more than 1,500 KW's, but I do target A LOT of long tail shit across 100's of sites and I need ranking data for .com.au and yahoo/bing) but I'll definitely use it for the main keywords of my main sites. Monthly fees piss me off, but I understand that it's definitely needed for something like this.

Seems like a really awesome service in all and can't wait to see what else you guys come up with

Thanks for your long term support. If it were't for the early adopters we wouldn't still be doing all of this!

The idea of a line graph that goes up to 1 instead of starting at 0 is not common.... so we have to do a lot of custom coding to get those to work. We just released an update that fixed some of the older issues and we have more updates to come... bottom line is, its just not easy but we keep improving them.

If you need to track more than 1500 keywords, get in touch with us and we can create a custom package. Monthly fees make sense when the service saves you time/money. SEscout was created because we spent WAY to much time checking our rankings INSTEAD of working lol

I think I remember seeing it be unlimited keywords and unlimited domains for the Elite package once you broke it out to more than one paid plan.

Also, I've typed this suggestion out a couple times over the past month and each time my text in the text area got erased due to accidentally hitting the back button in Firefox. Usually it will keep the contents of the text area once I go forward, but it doesn't with the form for suggestions.

Anyway - it'd be really nice to be able to know how many keywords out of the maximum for our package we are using, what package we are currently subscribed too, etc.

There's a lot of helpful statistics about our accounts that could be tracked in addition to those; like a lifetime discount (if you ever decided to offer it) on any package, or a coupon code that was currently applied to the currently subscribed package, etc.

Anyhoo, being able to know (without having to add up individually over multiple groups) the current keywords in use and our maximum number would be great for deciding when to upgrade an account.

Yeah, this is something we will be adding soon. After the first, we are planning on adding some new dashboard management features like this.

At some point in the future will you implement an iPhone/android friendly interface for checking rankings on the go.

It could be a big value add for IMs on the go.

You could even wrap the mobile interface up into an app and sell it for a couple dollars on top.

We have a push notification system in place that works with any desktop, iphone and soon to be on android and blackberry. The actual website itself is all javascript so it will load perfectly in any mobile browser.

We do plan on having an actual SEscout mobile app in the future, but at this point the revenue just isn't there. If some one around here is a mobile app developer and would like to work out something.... get in touch.

I've been using SEscout for a little over a week now and I absolutely love it. I probably don't need a paid plan to track 200 SERPS but the free account (tracking 10 SERPS) ain't doing it for me, plus SEscout is great service and it just keeps things really simple for me, and it's a product that I want to support so I am going to upgrade to the paid plan. I hate being a free-loader when I really like and use a product a lot.

$15, 75 key words, and pushed 2 or 3 times a day would be ideal for me.

We've actually had a bunch of feedback relating to a cheaper plan that appeals to those with a smaller portfolio of sites. Expect more information relating to a new plan...very...soon.
