Since when is C2M a closed network

I didn't get a call back, called a few times. Seems private, I didn't have a referral. I'm not a total noob, makin sales.... perhaps once my portfolio is prettier.

I agree. That is rude. And honestly, I am surprised the affiliates who responded here are ignoring this. Affiliate networks are here to serve the affiliates & advertisers, not act like badass middlemen who control the industry. You should have been respectfully denied (unless you were pulling anything shady) - no excuse here, C2M. Who is the one providing sales to your network? Let me check - oh that's right, the affiliates.

When I received my "call" from my AM over at C2M, I was also treated quite unprofessionally.. the call basically went like this: "who is this" (who the fuck opens a professional business conversation like that) and shortly followed with "what are you running" and repetitive demands of switching traffic. Honestly, he sounded like he gave 2 shits about me or my business and was a typical sales routine (think used car salesman). No introduction, no level of professionalism.

I can understand that fraud is a big concern for networks like C2M, but how the fuck does that excuse the level of unprofessionality to affiliates.. this has *nothing* to do with fraud so don't even come up with that as a response. I know plenty of affiliates who are fed up with affiliate networks utter disregard for professionalism and many act as if they are "our bosses" Guess what? We own you. The advertisers own you. And you are the ones losing business for it.

This doesn't just go for C2M, there are many networks I have seen treat their affiliates like shit (even if they do volume with them).

Step your shit up networks.. realize you aren't the biggest fish in the seas & deal with accordingly.

Things must have changed since I signed up to C2M in July. I just aimed a rep, told him I was already an a4d affiliate and he could ask Smaxor if he wanted, and was approved on the spot.

Why would you jump on a forum and cry like a little bitch? If you really want in the network go find out what it takes to get in.
Crying like a little bitch will not solve your problems.

"Crying like a little bitch will not solve your problems." You are mistaken, believe me:) Sometimes it helps. What is wrong with that ? But...

"There is no where on their site where it says that" There is!!! right into application form, just take a look!

You probably made something wrong, or was way too official which (while being new in the same time) can sounds like a lie sometimes.

Honestly being new is not a reason for denial, well, Hydra and Azoogle may not want you or XY7, but even they take slowly over time.

Yeah, I agree 100%.

I'm the customer and when I'm sending you hundreds of leads everyday I expect premium customer service - and that includes before you even know who I am.

I dont know wtf you guys are talking about. When I joined they were awesome, Lance called me and was very polite and helped me tremendously. Ruck was a man of his word, always there when I needed him. He even gave me $500 because I made over 5k my first 20 days. Mike K my AM now, is great. He always responds to my messages/ emails

I had a pretty good experience.

I told them straight up that i'm still a noob in the industry and i can only guarantee a couple of hundred dollars a month to start off with. I ended up doing low x,xxx, I mean as long as your honest and don't BS on the phone you probably won't have any trouble getting in.

Even though i don't do alot of volume as i am pretty new to this stuff my AM Ryan is pretty damn helpful, treats me like i'm a 6 figure affiliate. To say the least C2M is my favorite affiliate network so far, i would murder a midget hooker and throw her off the bridge for these guys.

You cant please everyone.

You dont see us pressuring anyone to signup. We move at our own pace, have our own agenda. I'm not going to sit here and lie to you. If you dont like it, then dont work with us.

The positive responses are overwhelming compared to the negatives.

I understand that Ruck

But man can't you guys just say "We dont take new publishers". Thats all im saying man.

That's a great way to run a business.. ignore anyone who challenges the way your business is ran and ignore prospective clients criticism.

I'm currently talking with the guys to find out the specifics that were said. Yes, to answer in short I can say that the answer you are saying is one that could be relayed to you instead of what was relayed.

To say we are not taking any new publishers is not true though. I read that you wrote "You do not fit our business model". Had someone told you that we arent accepting new publishers, they would have been lying to you.

With the situation at hand, and you being upset about what was said, take this for what's it worth. They didnt lie to you.

Either way, you can always contact me directly at 407-462-5629

This is exactly why C2M is my top network.

In my opinion, being "unprofessional" usually means they're telling you how it REALLY is.

Think of Warrior Forum. A lot of people there act very friendly and professional. You THINK there helping you out because they sound helpful.... but the reality is there advice is fucking useless and all they're trying to do is get you to buy a shitty ebook.

Just like "Polite" affiliate managers at shitty networks call/email you everyday to tell you about some stupid "hot offer" in a niche, you're not even in.

My AM at C2M will sometimes let me know when a really good offer comes out, but only if it's in MY niche. Other than that, I don't hear from him much and that's how it should be because we both have shit to do that is more important than chatting on AIM all day.

C2M gives you real advice, and they don't waste your time. (EWA is a lot like this too)

It's his business, he can run it however the hell he wants. That's what irritates me about customers and clients ... they always think they are right. Don't people realize that it's a business owners' right to run their business however the hell they want? If you don't like the way they do business, don't do business with them. End of story.

lol... great marketing skills man! Ignore the clients and do whatever you want!

Fuck all that shit about knowing what clients want! Lets give them what we want! They will buy for sure!

Again, great marketing skills there
