Since when is C2M a closed network

It's his business, he can run it however the hell he wants. That's what irritates me about customers and clients ... they always think they are right. Don't people realize that it's a business owners' right to run their business however the hell they want? If you don't like the way they do business, don't do business with them. End of story.
thanks for proving my point

Like I would get mad at a network for being "rude" while im selling "free trials" of berries and bizops to underprivileged people....
mmt

lol... great marketing skills man! Ignore the clients and do whatever you want!

Fuck all that shit about knowing what clients want! Lets give them what we want! They will buy for sure!

Again, great marketing skills there

You obviously have no experience running a real business or making real monies on the interwebz.

Pretty much all networks are private. You wouldn't be filling out applications and going through an approval process in the first place if they were public.

Also, Networks are there to serve their advertisers as well as their affiliates. If networks only did what was best for affiliates there would be no advertisers on their network. I say this purely because of the high rate of fraud and shady tactics constantly being developed.

It's a sad, but true, reality. C2M goes pretty above and beyond to serve their affiliates. It would only make sense to me that they denied applications that they don't see as fitting their business model.

Step your game up.

c2m does me right. Ruck had mentioned he wanted to tighten things up a little so i'm glad to hear it's actually happening.

To the thread starter, if you have legit traffic and can actually bring decent sales, then you would have no problems with a reference.

Yea, i've had my own experiences of unprofessional-ism with C2M. They act like they are doing a favor to you by having you as an affiliate, really.

They are. They are one of the best networks to work with and they teach their pubs more than any ebook or $1000 "marketing course" out there.

Doing you a favor? You really that small minded?

When I applied at C2M several months ago, I was upfront in saying that I didn't have a whole lot of AM experience so far but was willing to work hard and closely with you in order to become profitable and confident with my work. Lance was assigned for my application back then and while we agreed that he wouldn't approve me at that point since I couldn't send consistent traffic yet, he helped me out a bit and helped me make my first profitable Facebook campaign. However I had to take a break from the AM stuff due to moving to another country and while now things settle down for me and I want to dedicate myself to it again, Lance was let go in the meantime so Ruck told me to apply again. So here I am.
We helped him make money with a competitor after a denial and now we are going to get his volume. Love it or hate it. I know what I am doing.

I didn't know there were so many women in affiliate marketing till i read this thread.........wait that's demeaning to women , how about absolute idiots?

It's Ruck's business, and as you ALL should know , there is a INSANE amount of fraud that goes on out there. Networks deny apps , it happens all the time, if you get denied , try and appeal. I'd rather they step on your toes than allow more fraudulent traffic and get our payouts either reduced or offers removed because someone wanted to be "Fair" to everyone and allow anyone/anything to join the network.

Hey Ruck I apprecaite and Respect the class you show in the Thread. I understand you guys have to make decisions that are in the best interest of the company. I'll just reapply some other time. Its not to much of a big deal. Please excuse me if i made a rant or sounded out of line, it was not my intention. Its just surprised me some of the thing said on the phone.

While I don't run a network, I did drink a V8 today and I think I'm now enough of an expert to comment on this thread.

1.) Networks have to deal with insane crazy amounts of fraud, and also they have "guess" how much money they are going to float every month... while still meeting payroll, server expenses, and putting hot models into those tight shirts at affiliate seminars.

2.) If they let everyone in they have no way of even guesstimating how much they are going to float.

3.) Their adverisers also have limits on the number of leads they will accept. If they take your 200 leads a month will they have to pause the campaign early on the guy doing 2k a month?

4.) Ohh - your not "entitled" to shit :).... not even a sip of my v8. So if they deny you assume it's 1 through 3 -- not the fact that you smell funny, whine, or don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.

Now that my rant is over, I think I'll go finish my rum and yell at bofu2u for a bit.

Again, i love how all the bash-c2m threads actually turn into win's for their business.

Would you rather have 10 affiliate pushing a million a month, or 50 affiliates sending less then average quality traffic pushing two million a month for long term business growth?

Just sayin'

Recently I asked Ruck to approve me for an offer, and asked him if he could recommend a good step 2 campaign. Dude told me about an exclusive offer with another network. Say what you want but these guys ROCk!

OP's got to roll with the punches. Some networks will reject you. Get a bit more experience, prove you're serious, and reapply.

I'm sure these guys are dealing the 80/20 rule (more like 98/2 rule) every day and know that most publishers who call them will not send them a single lead and are just trying to cut out people who waste their resources.
