So I asked Steve Hartman, Sr. Director of EPN "Why is it so hard to get approved?"
So I was at Affiliate Convention in Denver this week, and the keynote today had a guy named Steve Hartman, the Senior Director of Ebay's Partner Network, on the discussion panel (http://www.affiliateconvention.com/2...pic-bordes.htm) and in normal Dick Cheney fashion, I asked him why it was so hard to get into EPN.
[Note: This question came after the panelists (Which included P202's Wes Mahler!) spoke of 'black box' communications and network transparency, which I though was ironic given that EPN is not highly communicative or easy to get on the phone...]
Here is the question and answer:

Basically:
Have quality site done before hand.
Give as MUCH info about your biz and experience as possible, and why you'd make a quality affiliate.
PS - The guy is super nice and they (EPN) said they'd be open to doing an interview with me, so maybe we could generate some questions and send them that way!!!
