Try running it in compatibility mode for Vista.

WLM has got some weird issues with W7 natively.. run it in compatibility mode for Vista SP2 and its works OK.
 
Anybody having issues with Trillian? I consistently lose my AIM contact list (some members, not all, can't figure it out), and I have to constantly re-add people - it's a royal pain in the ass.

One of my NY's resolutions is to dump it and get something better. Digsby is the popular consensus so far as best to use? Any other feedback?
 
Digsby is shady as fuck. Don't use it, to monetize it they run stock analysis etc on your PC. Pidgin is the shit, it's REALLY simple, absolutely no bloat and works for everything.

Try Pidgin, the universal chat client , you won't be disappointed

Digsby was shady, but i really like it. I hate to add my aim, yahoo and msn everytime i reinstall my windows. The new version is spyware free so it should be safe. Plus it even has simple twitter client which is really usable.
 
The best IM client is none. If you need more interactive than email, that's what the phone is for.
 
I use default aim as you lose lots of features when using trillian (file transfer, chat, ect.. I use those on a daily basis)
