Stop Drinking Beer Fo 2 MONTHS???

Crazy how often people drink, hence the nation wide low testosterone man boob sydrom. Yes alcohol lowers your test, so your actually less of a man every time you drink.

60 days is tough. I can stop drinking in the evening by myself for 60 days, but not if I go somewhere or a friend stops by with a 6-pack...

I generally try not to make it as a rule, if I decide to stop drinking for a period of time and I don't drink, its all good. But if unplanned things happen or I just feel like I need one and I get one, oh well...

I don't drink period.

Don't blame you... :)

hard not to drink a few, especially in summer.

no problem not drinking in over a year (you will be more productive, but more pissy in general).

I quit drinking and smoking weed about 3 months ago. It feels a lot better when your sober. Your energy levels and your overall health improves a lot, but I went out drinking last night and I have a small hangover and I've been smoking for about 2 days now.

Here are some things I noticed being sober vs not:

sober -

1. I felt great when i was sober, a lot more energy.
2. Saved a shit ton of money.

Bad things about being sober -

1. I am an asshole when I am sober.

2. Nothing to do because lots of the things I did was better with beer.

3. More energy, but that doesn't mean more focused. I would end up focusing on playing video games instead of focusing on work.

4. Lack of creativity. When people talked about smoking bringing out the creativity in them I thought it was just bullshit excuse. But I think I understand why it does. I don't think it makes you anymore creative, but it opens your mind to think in multiple ways to solve a problem instead of theres only one possible answer to it. The only problem is... being high and focused enough to channel that creativity into work. Sometimes I get high and clean the shit out of my house, but most of the times I get high and just feel like a rock and just sit on the couch and do nothing.

Bad things about Not being sober -

1. the hangovers - basically one day in your life you can bet you will never get anything done.

2. Weed can open your mind or close it depending on how your wanting to feel.

3. expensive - The bar is not cheap and neither is weed.

4. Your Health - Depending on how often you drink or do drugs you could be fucking yourself up pretty bad. And it can start to show (aka being a bum and not doing shit but drinking and partying).

But now that i've kinda been on both sides of the line I don't think it has to be so black and white as to be totally sober or not. Just drink once a week and smoke weed only when you want to work and hope that it helps you.

If you can't do without for 2 months, you suck.

Quit all alcohol 3 years ago. So what?

Hope that my 30 day sober thing works out!

Off the sauce for 7 years. I was looking at jail time.

When you're a drunk like me, you got no business drinking alcohol over the age of 25 or so.

The upside is I have a life.

You can go without a beer for 2 months if I can go without a beer for a year and a half because I used to drink all the time and just cold turkey stopped. It was hard but being sober is a lot better than being drunk especially for productivity
