Stuff like this has been selling in the back of High Times magazine for 10+ years now. Nothing new about automated grow set ups. This doesn't automate anything that will reduce workload much. Adding water once a day isn't hard nor is mixing nutrients once a week and adding them. Trimming and hanging is the bulk of the work during the grow.
The thing is something this size will yield like 25 grams over 4 months and is gonna take 40 hours of work at least during that time frame from set up to clean up. Efficiency is just so bad with a something so small.
The way they it's marketed they try to pretend this will stay sleek and clean. After each cycle that thing is gonna have to be entirely taken apart and thoroughly cleaned. Otherwise you will have mold by your 2/3 cycle.
Basically just a hipster novelty not something that will actually save any body time/money.
You can set up a bad ass grow that will actually pay for itself for $1,500 no problem. The thing is you just gotta use a bit more space than a mini-fridge and count on the fact that it's gonna be a few hours of work each week.
