Tell Me Where to Temporarily Move

I just got a furnished apartment in downtown Montreal... gonna start flying in there for 3-4 weeks every other month. Hot girls, wild nightlife, everything but gas is cheap, chill city with European feel, yet it's only a couple hour flight away from NYC

At this point, not that far no. Business is extremely busy and I don't have time for something major. I just want a quick get-out for 3-4 months somewhere nice, focus strong on biz, and then re-evaluate and see if going out west is doable.
 
Don't do Vegas if you want to focus on business. I loaded up my car and moved down here in October. It has been a huge distraction (but fun ;))... I guess I just don't have the self-discipline to focus on work when there is so much going on around me.

In hindsight, Vegas is probably not the best place to live for an alcoholic gambler that enjoys strip-clubs and whores.

I'm moving out of here in March... also looking for a good place to explore for 3-6 months.

Driving with a one dog and finding hotels to accommodate you and the four legged friend isn't a problem at all. I just drove from Texas to North California with 3 dogs and 3 people in a car. By the way south cali. is amazing. The bay area is full of entrepreneurs and hustlers. So staying focus and making new connections is very easy.

Anyway I hope you find the right place soon.

Going to have to go with TylerDurden on this.

Hawaii. To be away from chaos and surrounded by natural beauty to allow you to focus. Every turn you take you will find another spectacular view.

Oahu - lots of nature, things to do, but still has a nightlife with Waikiki

Maui - more laid back and natural

Big Island - Completely laid back away from everything

the other islands - lost in time.

There are a few places close to you that look interesting. Never been there but Baltimore/DC area may be nice for a few months. Boston is not too far and warmer days are almost there. Have some friends in Charlotte, NC and they love it.

New York
Seattle
Boston
Philly
Miami
Los Angeles

I'd move to Seattle, no doubt, good for you as person and as business
 
Lots of good suggestions here. I am sweet on Santa Fe, NM for it's distinct beauty, ethnic culture, arts community, fascinating sites of archaeological interest locally and within the state, and far lower cost of living than you saw in NY (I'm from Long Island).

Mendocino county, California is one of the most beautiful, rustic places I have ever seen. It's in the northern wine country, about 100 miles north of San Francisco, and there are mountains filled with vineyards, beautiful small towns inland and redwood trees in coastal areas. (There is also a town called Mendocino.) Inland is drier and you will see palm trees. Ukiah is a beautiful small city with a thriving arts community and great places to eat and hang out. Santa Rosa, about 60 miles south, is another cool wine country city, and the former home of "Peanuts" cartoonist Charles Schulz.

Waikiki Beach, Oahu is great if you can deal with the expense and the remoteness of the place. I also love the San Diego area, and have even stayed in San Ysidro to have access to quick hops south of the border.

The most wonderful thing about affiliate marketing is you have the freedom to go wherever you want. What a great business!

Than cruise ship to Cali. All ships got internet, so by the time you reach destination, the cruise is already paid-off.
And you can't get better vacation than cruise.
 
I'm in Orlando for the time being, and I like it here. I'm 45 minutes from daytona beach, tampa, cocoa beach. 3 hours from miami. And because the real estate market is shit right now, you can get a decent place pretty reasonably.
Also, a pretty good party/club scene if that's your thing.
 
San Diego, we have have everything you could want + we have a strong affiliate base to network with locally.

After our meetup last year we had 4 affiliates moved to SD based on what they saw while they were here.
