.........So for those of you that are into guns, you probably know by now that ammo has been pretty much non-existent in the stores since January '13. What you find online, is 3-4x it's original value (gunbroker, bulkammo, etc).
This said, is there ammo in your stores locally? I'd like to get everyones factual response throughout the usa on whether or not ammo is available in your local stores or if its bought up there even...
If I didn't see this coming years ago and stockpile tens of thousands of rounds, I would be scared shitless not being able to buy ammo. I mean for those of you with kids, families, etc who have no ammo - aren't you worried that you can't protect yourself or exercise your right to have guns/ammo? If I didnt have my ammo, crazy people ghillie suits, and all this prepping crap (AND AMMO WAS SIMPLY GONE), I'd be freaked the fuck out, no?
I occasionally go to walmart, target, big5, etc and only find calibers like 7mm, 8mm and other calibers (usually like 2-3 boxes). There's also not enough boxes to buy the gun, then the ammo. 22LR, 308, 30.06, 40, 223, 7.62x39, 9mm, the most common rounds - anything at all for that matter, is simply gone...
March 13th, 2013:
DHS buys 360,000 more bullets, in addition to the 1.6 billion it previously bought.
