I am not sure but your reply seemed a little sarcastic which is OK
but instead of just coming out with a stupid topical fact like you did which in my opinion is misleading..
just like something Obama campaign would do.
would it NOT be better to actually think about this in a different way??
in 2008 235 people gave up their U.S. citizenship
2011 almost 1800 gave up theirs and this reflects people that legally renounced which is a process in it of itself.. its not like you can just go and say I don't want to play any more lol I would say the number of perpetual tourists that live outside the U.S is 10 times as much.
raw numbers comparing to the population is tiny
but truthfully.. if this was a stock I would say this trend is exploding don't you think?????
and I would even go as far to speculate that most if not almost all of them would be affluent people.
this is an alarming trend in my opinion
the only people migrating to the U.S. are lower migrants.. which is fine.
people with affluence and I am not talking about only rich people but people with some net worth seem to be getting the hell out.
I myself have exited years ago to a small country costa rica. and I am seeing in increase of people moving here much more than even a few years ago. I mean normal higher middle income folks.. and these folks are not even bothering to learn how to speak spanish
really fascinating.
