booked a day early and later, to do some "tourist" stuff. Want to eat at the best places out here, not sure if I should see maybe a show or two, a musuem, central park etc... what must I do in NY?

Thanks guys. Usually I Yelp, and it doesn't usually lead me astray, but in this case, it's just getting confusing.

a mets game would be bad ass. Preferbably though, something that i couldn't do in chicago. Summer guide was a nice guild, but now even more confused.

I have a suite at the London, should I fork out $150 for the 7 course dinner there or save it and go somewhere else?

i dont recommend ramsey's restaurant, went there for restaurant week last month and wasnt impressed at all. if your planning on paying that much for a meal i say go to per se, but i dont know if youd get reservations.

i suggest chicken and rice on 53rd and 6th

I'm down for chicken and rice! How about Pizza, I hear a lot about Chicago Vs New York, I love Chicago pizza. Also Thai in Newyork? specifcally good curry?

How much would it be per person at Per Se after tip?

Edit: going to lombardis i guess.

Eat food from a street vendor, look for ones with long lines. Eat at Carnegie Deli.

China town baby! china town! Buy me one of these bad boys..!!!

69 bayard for the best chinese food in chinatown while you are getting casios.

news shows rain here which sucks. saturday and sunday should be clear though

any museum here is worth checking out, they are all dope. met, moma, gugen, even the natural history is the shit.

definitely check out the park if you are up there.

I would eat elsewhere for that cash but it all depends what you are trying to eat for that much.

Lower east side is really dope. Katz's deli is a fuckin landmark down there and insanely good...then swing round the block to sunshine bakery for the best pudding you will ever eat...like holy fuck good.

If it is nice out and you end up going all over I'd recommend riding the staten island ferry there and get right back on and come back. will give you a sick view of manhattan and goes right by the statue of liberty. tall boys of beer for like 3 bucks also.

what are you looking for though?

Grimaldis under by the Brooklyn bridge on the Brooklyn side. Best pizza on earth expect to wait an hour for a table.

Also get fucked up and eat at wo hop at 2am

I haven't been to Per Se since I moved out of Manhattan, but it was around $275 per person if I remember correctly (I think service is included, but not wine - their wine list is also overpriced compared to other NYC Michelin restaurants). Reservations might be an issue. If you can't get a res, you might also consider:
Aureole
Daniel
Jean Georges
WD-50 is nice if you like wacky molecular gastronomy
Alain Ducasse was good when it was at the Essex House, but haven't been since it moved (now Adour at the St. Regis)
Le Bernardin for sea food/fish. Last time I was there I had to wait 20-25 minutes on my 10:30pm reservation, the waiter was extra-snotty, and the tables seemed too close together. I'd still go back though, that night might have been a fluke, it was fine the other times I've been.

sorry for thread hijack. anyone have a favorite jewelry store? i'm looking for a breitling while im there

Nike is sponsoring a World Basketball tournament at Ruckers park in Harlem today. It started yesterday. Michael Jordan, Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Paul sowed up yesterday. Today the USA team is supposed to have an exhibition there.
