Things I "Must" Do in NewYork Besides ASE

yea i know that part of China town but those restaurant are operated by Fuzhou people...i wouldn't eat anything made by them for sure

You sound like you know your shit, but I dunno. When I'm in Chinatown, I see thousands of Chinese people, shopping, walking the street, eating in what you claim to be non authentic restaurants. So you telling me these 90 year old Chinese people are just content to eat fake food?

Jing Fong is one of my fav. places to go, they have little carts full of food they just wheel around the dining floor by your table, everything is always so good you wind up sampling it all. Though my wife and I laughed our asses off when the Peking Duck presentation had a clothespin represent the duck bills.

Did someone say "tranny hookers?" Perhaps someone should. It's like a 3D Dickroll. I'm told.

Go to per se one of the best restaurants in the world. Try to get a res at momofuku ko if you're lucky.

del frisco's or keens for steaks - shake shack for quick burgers but be prepared to wait.

eleven madison park is off most out of towners radar but by good friend is a sous chef there and it is the real deal.

Whatever you do…when you are walking around NYC please keep moving and stop staring up at the big buildings. Real New Yorkers are trying to get somewhere and you are causing a traffic jam on the sidewalk.

Just walk around a couple of miles. From Times Square up to Central Park, along different avenues.

Also I've yet to check them out but the Museum of Natural History is sure to be great, and the Intrepid Air, Sea & Space museum.

actually what i've been doing mainly. Went to bobby flays restaurants, mesa was awesome, bar american was maybe as good as chilis. Going to morimoto tommorow, mabye TAO, chinatown, and wicked.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the ideas, seems kind of dumb now to ask what to do in NY. This place is so huge.

Things is Did minus ASE. Bobby Flays MesaGrill and Bar American. Gordon Ramseys restaurant, MoriMotto, Random Thai, sushi, rice pudding joint. Natural HIstory, MOMO, times square central park, walk and get lost. Soho, Chinatown. Phantom of the Opera, Ellis Island.

Overall the museums, comedy club, Ellis island ferry, Time square, Chinatown, Ramseys, MesaGrill, and MoriMotto were the best. Just walking around NY was fun, but honestly after a few days here it can get really tiring.
