To the moaners.. it's a big budget Michael Bay sequel you dipshits, what did you expect? He exists solely to make CGI scenes more impressive than anyone else, he doesn't do plot, character dev or clever scripts.
Life tip: To avoid future disappointment make a point of finding out who the director of the film is, the intelligent among you will realise each director has a style and distinct vision for each film they do.

lol yeah if your expecting anything good, don't. If you go in with the expectations to see giant robots and the military firing sweet guns, its awesome.
I saw it on imax last night, even those of you who hated it got to admit that the battle in the forest with optimus prime was sick. Normally micheal bay zooms in WAY to much but that scene zoomed out and you could really just watch robots duke it out!

I think Imma go watch it today. Been out with strep for the past couple days so couldn't see the premiere.

All these bad reviews make me want to cry in shame for what has become of my childhood heroes. When I was 5 I wanted to be Ultra Magnus.
To the people who've seen it, do you think the movie would be ok if I was so high or drunk that I wasn't able to follow the plot anyway, and basically just saw lots of transforming shit and explosions?

I liked it, I thought those 2 "ghetto robots" where funny, In that Ice Cream truck come on, The effects where great story line meeehhhh.

I didn't like the 1st one so much, but this one took it to a whole 'nother level. Why the hell was it so long? 2 1/2 hrs, jeez.
I agree with them over doing it with Megan Fox. It felt like that chick you thought was cute and all, but was waaay too into your space for you to really like her back.

If you're looking for a plot in a movie with big ass transforming robots from outerspace whose life centers around a cube, you're a fool. Even so it still wasn't a bad story.
Hot bots & girls ... kick ass guns and explosions ... outer space to the ocean's bottom to inside pyramids ... world domination & exploding stars ... what's really not to like.
I whine and bitch about movie prices but this was worth every penny. Hell, I'll probably go see it again since I've got to wait a few weeks for Harry Potter and months for 2012.

Now that's more like it! you see, this man went to see this movie for the sheer action, not for the acting you douchebags who were expecting golden globe performances.

This movie sucked and blew. Two and a half hours of basically non-stop fighting. All I was thinking was "fuckin' somebody win already". I started hoping one of those Decepticons would kill Shia just so it would end.
The mix was way too loud, and the ghetto bullshit was just that. The only redeeming quality was Megan Fox but like someone else said she was basically a model strking poses for 2 and a half hours. Almost as bad as Year One.
I'm gonna stay away from the flicks until Public Enemies comes out.
