Turn to FOX news, count the seconds until...

This thread's basically lib bitches bitching about the ONE tv station that doesn't reinforce their preconceived notions. Sad and pretty pathetic.

Not really, I just started it to point out a fun fact, I don't even watch national news stations (for news). I believe the very second comment turned it into a big food fight. It is IMPOSSIBLE to mention FOX news on this forum without a msnbc/cnn comment following within the next few posts. Find me one instance of a thread without at least two of them mentioned and I'll paypal you $5.

This thread does give me an idea though...

Then you obviously missed the point of my post: Ideology (left/right) is irrelevant and proves nothing. You can play that little game on any station. The frequency or absence of any words or phrases have next to nothing to do with the overall theme of the messages frequently emitting from such medium(s).

I didn't miss your point, but your point was all that was needed to start the back and forth rabble rabble. That's all I'm saying.

To 'mention' Fox? Not quite. Fox is brought up by libs like yourself, generally in the context of bitching, in this case calling them 'fearmongers'. Fox is always brought up by bitching libs calling it 'right-wing', blah blah blah... In other words, shit nobody wants to listen to.

OF COURSE somebody would respond to ridiculous bullshit like that, because it's so absurd to hear lib bitches whining about it when they have literally hundreds of media outlets pushing their shitty propaganda.

Have you ever considered the fact that people don't want to hear you bitches complaining all the time about the ONE TV station that doesn't push your propaganda? Of course you can expect pushback - and then you act all surprised at the 'rabble rabble'? What a fucking joke.

Please submit your source of news that is more reliable than Fox? Seriously, I like to get my information from multiple sources and would love to add a reliable source to my daily read.

NOTE: If you say some fucked left blog (huffpost, dailykos etc or BBC) I am gona reach through the monitor and choke you to fuckin death!

Reuters or AP. All good sources... in fact, they're the primary sources for pretty much every fucking news organisation on the planet, and their content just gets the shit spun out of it to both the right and left by whatever bullshit they're trying to put in your brain that day.
But if you go to the source, it's generally pretty untainted by bias on either side.

Or are primary sources too biased for you?

Difference between Fox and other news stations?

When Bush was in office, fox called him out all the time. I could probably post enough youtube videos and news stories to crash the WF server.

Obama could ass rape an entire classroom of blind Retarded kids with 14 fingers and it wouldn't get a mention on CNN or MSNBC. If you only watched CNN or MSNBC you would think that terrorism has ended and that everyone in the country has a job.

Shit, the couple times i've seen him interviewed on those networks, I swear the anchor followed him back to the greenroom and caught a load right between the eyes.

Reuters or AP.

Some (myself included) may argue liberal bias in many of their stories as well.

The advantage of going with a wire service is if there's a story, it will get published whereas a news station will typically pick and choose what they want to publish off of the news wires based on their own bias.

Okay, so for those of you who actually watch FOX for your news, please name one other source that you consider legit, non-biased news. Something unrelated (not owned) to FOX would be nice.

Anything on television at all?

I rarely ever actually watch TV unless I'm on the road in which case it's usually just background noise while working. If so, it's just going to be sports or Family Guy.

In terms of TV news, I feel it's too alarmist and the anchors/reporters seem like condescending elitists as if they're talking down to a world of idiots (ie: the Charlie Gibson smirk during the Sarah Palin interview). My brother works on the news so it's fun to jack with him.

To answer your questions, I will channel surf through all the usual suspects: Headline News, CNN, CNBC, FOX Business, Bloomberg, and yes even MSNBC. Network (ABC, CBS, NBC) and local news anchors are a total waste of skin IMHO.

Do I consider them 'legit'? Nope, but it helps me to understand how my enemy thinks. ;)

Wall Street Journal

He did ask for "non-biased" and in a weird coincidence I just noticed the link below on another forum. Breitbart admitted today that he is biased.

Big Journalism, bigger ego | Media Matters for America

I don't believe Drudge has made any apologies in the past for his own particular leanings either.

Maybe you need to learn a bit more about those sites then. They may have admitted to being biased personally but at least they publish all of the news wires (at least I know Breitbart.com does anyway)

It would be impossible to locate a purely unbiased news source. It doesn't exist. Even the wire services themselves are biased in their reporting unfortunately. That's why you need to analyze the actual substance of the news piece yourself and do the best you can to identify the source of the bias itself.

EDIT: You're referencing Media Matters which is about as far left as you can get so ironically, it's severely biased and I wouldn't trust a damn thing they write.

True. There's also a lot of people who don't understand the difference between commentary and regular journalism.

Deal with it libs..you are a far left fringe of our society. Main stream America watches Fox news. Thats why their ratings are TRIPLE the other news shows.

The US is a middle right country. Maybe you guys should move to Europe. Hell...then you can hang around all the muslim extremist over there. Im sure they would LOVE to have you. Be sure to convert before you go!!!
