1200+ yards and double-digit TDs... in his sophomore season, with Jerry's Kids throwing him the ball, on a putrid offense that ranked like 31st in time of possession, on a goddamn 0-16 team! Just insane. Physically, the most talented WR in football right now.

Yeah, the only reason I put Fitz in the same class or a little above is because of his performance in the playoffs last year (especially the Super Bowl). However, like Grindstone brought up, Fitz had Warner throwing the ball and Boldin on the other side. CJ may as well have had Rachel Ray throwing him the ball, with Oprah on the O-Line and he still put up nasty numbers.

A normal 200 lb. man will fuck a pit bull up. Pits just don't have the weight or strength to take out a healthy adult male. Not saying the bites won't hurt like a bitch, but if you can't choke-out, or sit on a 50 lb. dog, you need to hit the weights.

In my opinion, Calvin already is the best WR in football. He lead the league in TD's with 5 different schleps throwing him the ball and no other weapons on the team. Everyone that played the Lions knew he was the only good player on the team and they still couldn't stop him. Put a real QB behind center and another option or two and his numbers will be sick. That being said, I'll be happy with 6 wins this year. Pathetic, I know.


edited to add - Larry Fitzgerald is the real deal too. Maybe Calvin is 2nd best right now.

IMHO - #1 Andre Johnson #2 Larry Fitz #3 Calvin Johnson - It's really close though between all 3 of them.
