I'll take a stab.
1. As tavin pointed out, definitely washed out. One way to easily address this is to remove the requirement to hover over an image in order to see the full color version of your recent projects. It's a no-no imo to make the visitor work just to see your image previews. Make them all stand out by default, and if you want some :hover action, do something else like have it show a border. It's a cool effect by animating them to life on hover, but immediately on pageload they're too hard to see. edit: I see on your portfolio page you're doing what I think you should for the 3 img previews on your home page; stick with that format instead.
2. Sub text under "TY Creative" of "web development - web design -" etc.. needs to be enlarged BIG TIME. It's like you're almost hiding it from the visitor. You want them to immediately know/understand what TYCreative is. So make it much bigger (even perhaps big enough to span across the entire width of the layout) and less gray (maybe black or that blue).
3. Aside from the subtxt too small, the paragraphs of text you have (right aligned) are too small in font size as well. Increase it a little bit more and make it darker. Small and washed out = bad.
4. The centered list of what you do doesn't look like a list enough, and it's also too small. Make it very apparent that it's a list either by some sort of line separation between each item and/or a bullet point (doesn't have to be a typical black circle, could be anything custom).
It's not bad, just a few quick adjustments would make a good difference.
