That book looks badass

Is all this reading time really productive? Sounds like a big ass distraction from getting real work done.:1bluewinky:

Mark Cuban always reads 3+ hours a day. If it's good enough for a self made billionaire it's good enough for me.

That said you should be reading real books filled with information and not shitty blog posts and forums always about the same old shit.

I'm currently reading Rework, by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson, which is a very good book. I properly like it. Also just starting Advanced Google Adwords by Brad Geddes, because I simply can't get enough of Adwords books. :)

Loved this book when i read it, the folllow up, New Market Wizards is also very good, although not quite as good as the original. You'd probably enjoy Edwin Lefevre's Reminiscences of a Stock Operator.

reWork is a bunch of shit.. Sorry. I liked their first book "Getting Real" .. this second one is the same stuff dumbed down for the non-tech crowd.

I haven't read "Getting Real" you see, just bumped into the book on Amazon a week or so ago and thought i'd give it a go. I really like it though, but then i never bought it to read as something tech related. I bought it based on just general business, which was shown, i felt, from quite a nice contrarian angle.

Obviously "Getting Real" is going in the shopping basket now. :)

Seriously, I got furious with reWork. "Getting Real" is not necessarily tech - related.

ReWork just felt like the hyped up, braindamaged, but beautifully marketed bastard child of the hype that is 37signals and their first book.
