How many of you remember the GameVance/PlaySushi/PlayPickle game download/adware offer? If you don't, you've surely heard of TrafficVance? They all belong to FutureAds whose Founder/CEO Jared Pobre is reportedly dating actress Stacy Keibler.

The same Stacy Keibler that dated George Clooney:

It's been a couple of years since I worked with FutureAds, but it was printing money (around $200k/day in revenue of which I assume $100k/day profit) back then - who knows how they're doing now?

If I had to guesstimate Jared's net worth, I'd probably peg $50M in liquid net worth and over $100M total if you include his business, house, etc.

Conclusion: We know of atleast one internet marketer/webmaster who isn't gay!

Someone who knows more about Jared can chime in (?)

Ironic that you're clearly homosexual and jealous of him for being a not-gay webmaster.

wtf else is there to know. TV kills it, he met the right people and doesn't look as hideous as you, and made it. Move on.

I can't tell if you're serious, but I'm not jealous at all.

I personally found their business model very risky. I'm surprised they have been able to sustain their business for as long as they have. Imagine for instance, if, one day, microsoft pushes out an update that flags their adware as malicious and overnight gets it uninstalled from millions of PCs. Adware business can be very fickle and is fraught with operational risks (apart from regulatory risk).

A user base that takes months/years to accumulate can vanish overnight. Just look at what happened to Yontoo/PageRage. Right before they were shut down, theywere on track to make more $$$ than FutureAds.

he met the right people.

Well, when you have $100M people come to you!

Easiest money ever made with TrafficVance + Mochi. Those were the days...2-3c CPC US traffic against a 8c-10c EPC. Any ad approved. Never a retro-disapproval. Probably how life was for the SEOers before Google unleashed all the animals; etc Penguin & Panda. Did I get them right? lol

Traffic Vance sucks now. They lock you out of your account if you go more than 30 days without running traffic. Not to mention they went to a system where they can create an artificial bid ceiling and screw over affiliates.

So fuck them and fuck Jared too.

Unlike Sambreel and the likes, he played his cards well by not relying on add-ons/extensions (Google is far more aggressive with adware than Microsoft will be) or third-party ad networks for monetization. I don't see too much traffic going to their offers anymore, so I'm sure he's well recouped his money on the installs and is just banking off the existing user base. Even if he loses them now though, the guy's already set for life.

AFAIK they stopped buying new inventory a while ago, so their userbase is slowly shrinking and they are mostly just dialing it in.

The new changes made like a year ago with the convoluted bidding system really screwed over most people.
