Thanks a lot, J-Mac and WickedWeasel. There's no way I'm gonna pay 77 bucks a month for TBS when I can spin for free with spinnerchief and rewrite assistant. Maybe not as good but still enough to get the job done.

Managed to use the learning mode to teach scrapebox how to post comments to the best French blog platform. Scraped a huge list of blogs, divided it in chunks of files containing 50 urls, and now I have my own drippable blog comments that I can use everyday with slow commenter mode.

Also got me some good private proxies on Fiverr. 4 good proxies is WAY better than 200 crappy proxies.

My site came back from its dancing and most of my keywords jumped 100 positions in the SERP. DFB FTW ! Got to number 2 for my main 2 keywords on Bing, that gives me some organic traffic.

About this ^^^

Don't know if it was a temporary thing, but couldn't get to post anything using scrapebox yesterday. Didn't work on slow commenter and manual poster, with or without proxies.

Tried to comment to a blog through firefox and that worked.

Will try again tonight but if it didn't work anymore, I would be pretty pissed. Manual posting is a bitch, so I really appreciate anything that is automated.
 
Grab some french proxies, write long/spinned comments and it will works.
Also you should look at the "seoton" queries on G, last french seo contest, you'll find some nice place to post ur links.

Nice information, specially useful for the first timers like me. I've never ever used DFB in my money site because I always thought it was too spammy but now I don't see things in the same manner, so I'll be blasting my money site and see what affect it has on the rankings.

BTW, French ladies are gorgeous and France is a nice country, I like it a lot.

Hey kultissim ! Thanks a lot for everything. I managed to get the comments to work yesterday so everything is fine. I already have a lot of spinned comments in French and English so that's no problem.
Oh by the way, forgot to reply to your message : I'm getting around 20 PV a day for now but expect way more when I get to number 1.

About directly blasting the money site with DFB :It WILL make your site disappear out of google for some time, but let's be honest here : you won't get any traffic if you aren't on the first page of google anyway. So I just thought WTF and blasted the shit out of my site with lots of anchors and to deep links + my homepage, and it's getting me some pretty good results. Most of my big jumps in the SERP followed a blast to my site.
Just make sure you are not targeting only one page and one keyword as it will raise some flags.
 
Some quick news, not really AM-related :

I didn't tell you but I live in Tokyo, which got hit by a huge earthquake last week. Me and my girlfriend are alright for now, but the situation is pretty bad with the atomic reactor and the aftershocks that are still pretty strong.

I won't update this thread for some time, until the situation gets better.

The situation here is not still completely stable, but got way better than last week, so I thought I would just update.

I have been pretty busy with work and stuff and couldn't do much manual linking. I'm still using scrapebox to comment to blogs everyday, and I increased the pace because I feel safe doing so. I'm also targeting my site with DFB blasts twice a week, with lots of keywords, not just my main 4, to dilute the backlinks.

My site is still jumping around in google, but they all got in top 100 at some point, even my second keyword that wouldn't show up for a long time. Ranking is pretty good and stable in bing, with two of the keywords at #2 and one more at #3. All my keywords are in top 100 in yahoo also.

Just bought a PR4+ profile linkwheel from andrey in the BST section, will see how that affects my rankings.
 
Quick update :

The linkwheel I ordered from Andrey got me some crazy results. I managed to get to #11 in google just after I got my report, I need to do some more linkbuilding to get into 1st page.

I canceled my subscription to DFB, because I can't use it to the fullest for now. I concentrate on scrapebox now for giving juice to my BL. If I need a rumer blast, I'll just go to the BST section.

My job changed it's location and I now have to commute 4 hours a day, so I can't use scrapebox as long as I want. There is a lot of power blackouts recently in Tokyo due to the recent events and letting my computer run all day is not an option so I was thinking of getting a VPS server to run scrapebox. Any recommendations ?

I don't have time to build links recently so I think I will start getting more stuff from the BST section.
 
4 hour commute? ouch, I guess you wont have internet during that period?

I would spend time writing content :)
 
I have internet on my iPhone, but writing content on it is out of the question for now.

Content is no real problem for me though : I can just scrape articles from ezine or shit, translate it with a tool, and just fix the grammar and parts that don't make sense to get good content for free and quick.
I could also translate with a tool and post it directly without fixing in some place hard to access to help with page quantity and page interlinking.

Whatever you do, stay away from VPS or dedicated hosting until you are making money and have traffic to justify it. If you decide to go VPS later on, Avoid VPSLatch and HostLatch (same company), I just got off a terrible experience with this assholes. What? slower than shared hosting because other abusers are kicking the shit of their boxes.

ManVsWorld, thanks for the kind words. I'm still at the noob level but got better and now understand better how some things work. Just do some stuff and you will learn lots.

So, it has been more than a week since my last update, and some good things happened.
I'm finally in top 10 for my main keyword, sitting at #9 right now. I'm slowly crawling up the ladder and I'm pretty sure I will get there.

My second site, on which I didn't do much yet (installed wordpress with a template, wrote one article and no SEO) got a huge SB comment blast, 200k links pointing at one page with 200 anchors. It is nowhere to be seen in google, but already got to #1 on bing LOL. Hoping to see this big boy somewhere in google in the next months.
 
Gonna keep a track of this thread.. So far, looks like a good case study..

BTW how good was the PR4+ link wheel ? What was your previous SERP in Google? Any update on the latest rankings? Is it on 1st page from #11 now?

The linkwheel was one of the best stuff that I did for my blog. You can read my review on Andrey's topic if you want to learn more. I'm #9 on first page now for my main keyword, after adding more comments and amit's SB.

hey thanks.. Great reading this thread. Keep us updated.. !! One more thing. Have you again added more SB lately? Have you followed the same thing and blasted them with Xrumer?
